Please remove the democrat-controlled cities; our USA drops close to the bottom of the list.

Democrats are at the helm of 11 of the 15 deadliest cities in the U.S.
The cities primarily run by Democrats are St. Louis, Baltimore, New Orleans, Detroit, Cleveland, Newark, Chicago, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh.

All but three cities on the list have Democratic mayors. Democratic district attorneys are also in charge of prosecution in 12 of the 15 cities.
https://katv.com/news/nation-world/analysis-democrats-at-the-helm-of-11-of-the-15-deadliest-cities-in-us
The top four deadliest cities -- St. Louis, Baltimore, New Orleans, and Detroit -- have Democratic mayors, sheriffs, prosecutors, and city council leaders. The fifth, Cleveland, has Democrats across the board, except for an unaffiliated sheriff appointed to his position.

Those on the Left know that their soft-on-crime policies have wreaked havoc in the cities where they have implemented them. It is not hard to understand why “reforms” such as ending cash bail, defunding the police, refusing to prosecute entire categories of crimes, letting thousands of convicted felons out of prison early, significantly cutting the prison population, and other “progressive” ideas have led to massive spikes in crime—particularly violent crime, including murder—in the communities where those on the Left have implemented them.

Left-wing politicians and their backers recognize that rising crime rates and the lack of a general sense of safety that follows are a problem for them and their chances for ree******n. Recent polls show that v**ers care a lot about rising crime—an issue that is second only to rising, rampant inflation and the lackluster economy. So the Left is engaging in political traditions as old as time: obfuscation, finger-pointing, and blame-shifting.

One liberal organization—The Third Way—even went so far as to publish a “study” arguing that Republicans are actually to blame for the spike in murders across the country. The study's not-so-subtle suggestion is that those on the Left are not responsible for rising crime rates because crime is increasing everywhere—especially in Republican-led states. Fighting for their political survival, Left-wing politicians such as Gavin Newsom and Larry Krasner have recently started to parrot the “results” of this study.1
Gavin Newsom@GavinNewsom, Twitter, October 18, 2022, 10:16 AM, https://twitter.com/gavinnewsom/status/1582375031278927872 (accessed November 2, 2022); Snejana Farberov, “Lefty Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner Says Crime Is Worse in ‘Trump States’ in Fiery Interview,” New York Post, September 30, 2022, https://nypost.com/2022/09/30/philly-da-larry-krasner-says-crime-worse-in-trump-states/ (accessed November 2, 2022).

But crime tends to be a hyper-localized phenomenon. State-level data are generally meaningless—except as a tool to score political points. More to the end, when the crime statistics from the deep-blue big cities within these otherwise deep-red states are removed, what happens? The state-level crime rates fall—in some cases, dramatically.

When you remove the crime-infested, homicide-riddled cities from the state murder rate featured in the Third Way study, you dramatically lower the murder rate for that state, upending their conclusions and exposing the piece for what it is: a straightforward attempt at political projection dressed up as a “study.”
Not surprisingly, of those 30 cities, 27 have Democratic mayors, the exceptions being Lexington and Jacksonville, which have Republican mayors, and Las Vegas, whose mayor is an Independent. And within those 30 cities, there are at least 14 Soros-backed or Soros-inspired rogue prosecutors. Those Soros bought-and-paid-for or inspired rogue prosecutors include:

Jason Williams, New Orleans Parish District Attorney;
Marilyn Mosby, Baltimore City State’s Attorney;22
On July 22, 2022, Marilyn Mosby was defeated in the primary for the office of State’s Attorney for the City of Baltimore. She lost to former Assistant State’s Attorney Ivan Bates but remained in office until the general e******n's outcome was known and her successor was sworn into office.

Kim Gardner, St. Louis Circuit Attorney;
John T. Chisholm, Milwaukee County District Attorney;
Larry Krasner, Philadelphia District Attorney;
Kim Foxx, Cook County (Chicago) State’s Attorney;
Raul Torrez, Bernalillo County (Albuquerque) District Attorney;
Mike Freeman, Hennepin County (Minneapolis) Attorney;
John Creuzot, Dallas County District Attorney;
Glenn R. Funk, Nashville District Attorney General;
Santana Deberry, Durham District Attorney;
George Gascon, Los Angeles County District Attorney;
Chesa Boudin, San Francisco District Attorney;23
San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin was recalled in a special e******n on June 8, 2022. San Francisco Mayor London Breed appointed Assistant District Attorney Brooke Jenkins to serve as District Attorney for the remainder of Boudin’s term.
Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District Attorney.
There were 2,554 homicides in those 30 cities through June 2022. In the 14 cities with Soros-backed rogue prosecutors, there were 1,752 homicides, representing 68 percent of homicides in the 30 top homicide cities in the United States.

Every Soros rogue prosecutor listed above is a Democrat.

So US Taxpayers aren't already footing the bill? Charities, government programs, lost jobs, more schools...at least if there were serious penalties, instead of tax funded freebies it might stem the tide a bit. If it was enforced, and the word got out, you can bet there would be a lot fewer needing 3 hots and a prison cot.
1.) Finish the wall.
2.) Provide the Border Patrol with the bodies and the resources they need to properly monitor it.
3.) Enforce all laws already on the books - including prosecuting those who enable the lawbreakers.
4.) Limit granting asylum to ONLY those who enter the US at official ports or entry and who have legitimate asylum cases.
5.) Unleash ICE to locate and remove those who entered illegally, who skipped their court dates, and especially those who have committed other crimes since their entry.
6.) Do NOT consider amnesty for ANYONE who has entered the US illegally - PERIOD. That includes "Dreamers".

Elon has no intention of remaining the CEO of Twitter. He's said as much. His Tesla/Spacex/Neuralink/OpenAI/(et. al.) plate is full. He'll select someone to run things who understands that they are to continue to manage according to his guidelines and knows that he has ultimate decision-making power on any Twitter issue. Then he'll go back to doing other important Musk stuff. I'm guessing the poll was yet another attempt to out bots and other fraudulent accounts, and it was probably very successful. He'll never get rid of them all, but you can bet their ranks have been greatly reduced at this point. Don't agree with some of his progressive ideas, but what he's done to twitter is a lot more positive than negative, so there's that.

My post was based on facts and math - not sure how that's "twisting world events" but you do you.
"you always resort to some of the most absurd statements we can find on OPP... "
I wear your "absurdity" slur as a badge of honor, Sir.

"it is the incomitance [sic] of the former occupant which causes so much division in our country.."
I did not mention Trump's "competence" or "division", that's you shifting the narrative.
"I [sic] you took a moment to see logicly [sic] the situation we are in, you [sic] damning of Joe would be less and your love of radical rights would be less.."
I see nothing to base your resulting assumption on, therefore I choose to ignore it.
"Do a careful evaluation of what and how we got to this point in time.. carefully look at all causes. some we could of avoided, some not.. but Joe had nothing to do with them.."
Be honest...you've been writing for Karine Jean-Pierre, haven't you? I mean WiTF does that mean except to obscure either your ignorance or your unwillingness to bring data to the table??
"the shutdown of construction on the Portion of the XL had no affect at all, then or now"

And what is this feeble attempt to say that former VP Biden has nothing to do with where we are. Are you really that clueless?

From your own link you facetious moron:
"Our rating: False. Based on our research, we rate FALSE the claim that the Biden administration is emptying the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. While the newest planned release of oil from the reserve is the largest on record, the total amount of oil scheduled to be removed (emptied??) from the stockpile is just about one-third of the total. "

Facts (so we can see how the left lies about EVERYFRICKINTHING!)

Strategic Petroleum Reserve
(in Millions of Barrels)
Full a little more than 700 (highest it's ever been was 727 in 2009 but lets say the baseline is 700)
Trump Enters Office 695
Trump Leaves Office 638 (8.86% less than full; 8.2% less than when he took office)
Biden (in roughly 2 years)
December 09, 2022 382 (45.4% less than full; 40.1% less than when he took office)

We never said Biden had EMPTIED the SPR. We said he was emptying it, which he is (screw your fact-checking semantics). And you gotta use some hardcore l*****t math fudge factors to say that Biden had emptied it by 1/3.

1/3 of 700 is 233.33. If he'd used up 1/3, there'd be 466.67 still in it. Not 382.

Sorry folks, I broke my own rule, which is nothing Bad Bob says is worth comment, much less spending any time refuting his inane drivel with actual facts, but when he takes the time to research a topic (probably did a google and cc'd the top link) he deserves to have his nose rubbed in his own BS.

There is nothing bold about stating the t***h unless you are surrounded by people who don't know what the t***h is, then they react and are prone to anger and violence.
You have lived far to long under a regime that twists history to its whims in order to control the populace.
"Utterly ridiculous t***h"...you mean like (and this is from Wikepedia, so it's been sanitized)
While doubts regarding the perceived second attack have been expressed since 1964, it was not until years later that it was shown conclusively never to have happened. In the 2003 documentary The Fog of War, the former United States Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara admitted that an attack on the USS Maddox happened on August 2, but the supposed August 4 attack, for which Washington authorized retaliation, never happened.

If both run, it's Trump. I want him to have another chance to break the uniparty's grip on the country. By winning in 2016 he prevented 8 years of HRC. Do you have any idea where we'd be if that had happened?
