The wall is a wasteful joke, have you seen the videos of how quickly it is cloned and breached? We need to invest in doubling or tripling the number of immigration courts. The backlog is the problem.

What we should do is make i*****l i*********n a felony. Build some prisons, that would create more jobs for Americans. Their first offense is 10 years, their second offense is 20 years. If they are going to be in this country illegally and I have to pay for them, then it shouldn’t be pleasant for them! We would k**l two birds with one stone.

Can't remember who came up with this idea, but it's a dandy. Florida has too many alligators. New Orleans has too many floods because it is below sea level and illegal border crossings are a serious problem. SO, we put the i******s to work digging a mote on the border. The dirt from the digging is hauled to New Orleans to build it up a bit and the mote is filled with Florida alligators. Solve a whole lot of problems.

A huge massive prison near the border, capable of housing millions. And it would ultimately be cheaper then all of the welfare money spent on them. And when they serve their time, they are sent back home.

The idea of having some sort of work program for these people to be involved with has a lot of merit. Perhaps they can use this type of program to facilitate entry or getting a green card or other streamlined, fast track process if they can prove a sk**l and earn a wage (and of course pay taxes on that wage). Perhaps they can get a salary and room and board for building new immigration facilities, including wall sections where they actually make sense.

But moving gators from FL to LA and building a mote is an incredibly ignorant idea. For one thing, Louisiana does not share a border with Mexico and “border crossings” there are not even possible except by boat or plane. And Louisiana has just as many gators as Florida already, they don’t need any more!

One more thing of note, alligators can’t live in salt water, so if the mote is effected by tides and seawater, you would need crocodiles, which can exist in salt or brackish water, but they are endangered and Florida has very few and none that are “extra”!
