BS!! So you're OK with Hamas slaughtering more than 300 innocent people??? Or think just because they're Israelis they deserve to be murdered??

Netanyahu has failed the people of Israel and the world. So much for his iron dome.

Netanyahu didn't just fail to protect the Israeli people, he caused the attack to start with.

People forget that Israel is illegally occupying Palestinian territories and treating the Palestinians in these territories like animals. According to international laws, an occupying force is responsible for the well-being of the residents. Israel violates that law every day as a matter of policy.

Bibi's ultra-right-wing government has no interest in a two-state solution either and has pursued a policy of slowly suffocating the Palestinians into non-existence, encouraging more Jewish settlements in the West Bank so... more throwing Palestinians off the farms that have been in their families for generations, more bulldozing their homes and taking their land which they decided for themselves the Palestinians have no right to.

That's like me taking YOUR house by force and then simply stating that it belongs to me not you, so any subsequent attempt you make to take it back would be a crime punishable by law. "What? you worked all your life to buy that house? That doesn't matter. It belongs to me, so get out or I'll call the police and they will arrest you for trespassing!"

In simple terms, you can take someone's home from them and if you have the power to do it, you can declare your action to be legal and any resistance can be declared a crime. This is exactly what Israel is doing.

Even after they withdrew their forces from Gaza, Israel still controls the region by surrounding it. The Palestinians are not allowed to trade with anyone or generate their own electricity. This is how Israel can cut of the electricity and supply lines. Gaza is essentially the same thing as an Indian Reservation in our country, a piece of less desirable land that they send all the people to after stealing the land they were already living on. No one is allowed to enter or leave without permission. The Palestinians in Gaza get no representation in world affairs and any time they act out in defiance, Israel cuts off their food, water and electricity, then they bomb the shit out of them and since Gaza is so crowded and the people there are trapped. They just get slaughtered. They don't even have any air defense so it's really just a turkey shoot.

Israel tells the civilians to move away from anything Hamas but only to make themselves look better to observers by implying that they are only interested in attacking the "bad guys" But they know that Hamas ARE civilians and that this isn't a conflict between a rogue terrorist group and Israel, it's a conflict between Israel and an entire population of people. This is why they talk about human shields, because they know they are going to kill civilians, women and children included. The human shield is just an excuse for killing a civilian population.

I don't support the attacks launched by the Palestinians because I don't support terrorism, but I do understand it. The plight of the Palestinian people has been ignored by Israel and the U.S. as they work to normalize the forced submission of the Palestinian people.

Those attacks yesterday were a desperate attempt to let Israel and the world know that Palestinians won't just roll over and die as Israel wants. They already knew Israel would retaliate with a massive slaughter but they also know they have nothing to lose anymore. They would probably rather die in a blaze of glory than to wither away in death grip of Israeli occupation. Those seem to be the only choices Netanyahu has offered them.

I also offer my condolences to casualties and their families on both sides, but in my opinion the Jews that settled in the areas being attacked were idiots for moving there. They were idiots for assuming they can settle in a place that's just been stolen and raise their families in perfect security.

Unfortunate, but true. Terrorism is the desperate measure that the fight for freedom will take when obstructed by a far more powerful military.

Yeah, I'm already noticing those people that have been bitching and complaining about our support for Ukraine are now rising up to show support for Israel. So, it's NOT a simple matter of staying out of foreign conflicts like they said. It's a matter of picking choosing sides.

I stand by Ukraine because like you said, they were invaded by a superpower, even though I think the conflict is more complicated than that.

I can NOT stand by Israel because they ARE the invading force! That's what an occupying force is - an army that came from somewhere else, invaded and is now occupying.

I'm saddened by the 500 Israelis killed but at the same time... and this is going to sound harsh... they pretty much did it to themselves. If you're going to move to a new home built on land that was recently taken from people who are still living in a cage a short distance away - don't be f**king surprised if they launch rockets at you!

I'm not their cheerleader, but I'm not a Israel cheerleader either. There are plenty of Israeli's who believe that this a way for old leadership to stay in power-they had to know that this was going to happen. If most Hassidic Jews believe that they are going to prevent Armageddon, by occupying territory that the Palestinians have a right to use, then let them finish building their idiotic wall.

I agree they have a right to protect themselves, they're just doing a shitty job of it because they keep abusing the Palestinian people and pushing them to desperation. A better plan would be to stop stealing land from people and treating them like animals so you don't give them a reason to attack in the first place.

You bring up an interesting point about the old leadership. Netanyahu was loosing support among the younger Israelis who were starting to refuse the call to serve (Israeli conscription) in a protest against his right-wing government. This is what makes the attacks all the more tragic. How many of the Israelis killed were actually opposing their own government's treatment of the Palestinian people? But for Netanyahu, the attacks present a perfect way to unite Israel behind him and it also provides an excuse to exterminate as many Palestinians as possible.

The ONLY people who believe that are Christians. Jews don't actually subscribe to the idea that they need to rebuild the temple or that all Jews will be instantly converted to Christians so they can ascend to Heaven or ANY of that End Days crap. But the State of Israel does benefit from a pipeline of contributions by Christians in America all hung up on the ridiculous idea that the Jews need to evict the Muslims and rebuild the temple.

Many of the Hassidic Jews, like most orthodox Jews don't even believe there should be a Jewish state. They see the quest for land and material possessions as barrier between themselves and God. In fact the Semitic people of all faiths including Christians, Jews and Muslims lived together in peace for centuries before the non-Semitic Jews in Europe decided to create a Zionist movement to claim the Levant for themselves.

Don't you have a picture for that? lol

Look, you might not like what Kevyn said, but it *IS* the truth. No rational person is surprised by the attack. Israel has subjected millions of Palestinians to inhumane conditions over the last 17 years. They have been condemned for it by almost every nation in the world except the U.S. I don't think Kevyn is supporting the attacks... I don't think anyone is, really. But we at least understand why they happened.

And, again, you might not want to hear this but Israeli and U.S. intelligence did fail to catch the plot. That *IS* more-or-less the purpose of intelligence.

Hamas militants holding Israeli civilians, soldiers hostage in Gaza...

This is a direct result of our enemies abroad sensing a lack of leadership from the Biden administration. I believe that the coming month's will see more attacks on our friends abroad especially if the polls continue to trend in Trumps favor. Our enemies will be determined to take what they can while they can as soon as they can while our ability to help is diminished.
