In WWII America fought in two theaters. We had oil wells, iron mines, steel mills, and coal mines to supply our factories. Today many of those factories are shuttered. We had a great manufacturing base to rely on in 1941. Today we rely on importing many supplies from other nations. Our Army is 15,000 enlistments short in 2022 and 10,000 short in 2023. We are in a very vulnerable position if we think we can protect the world and ourselves.

This is the way I see it. Since my mother was a child, the Arabs and Israelis have been at each other's throats. I am pretty suck of it. Can't they kearn to get along?
