To believe that Trump did not commit fraud is to believe that he actually believed the place where he lives is 30,000 square feet when it's actually 11,000. Take your pick, fraud or mentally retarded. There is no other option.

I looked it up and it is 62000 + sq ft. Research before you speak!

I have not really been able to find the answers to these questions. Can anyone help?

1. Has Trump paid back the loans in question or is he in the process of paying them back?

2. Have the lending institutions suffered any loss because of Trump's actions?

===============
I have discussed this so many times at the prior issue. Leticia James had no case against Trump. It is about vengeance, hatred against Whitey Trump and his family. Want to push Trump and family out from NYC.

By the way, Trump developed NYC into one of the most beautiful financial cities in the world.

Became the ugliest when the Blacks occupied the city. Violence and crimes prevail.

The loan transaction and valuation of property was in good faith. The bank approved the loan based on Certified reports of CPA's. This is official and legal record where banks require official document to base upon.

I know this because I have investments on real estate properties. I am a licensed Realtor, an Accountant and Auditor, a CPA who've previously done these jobs. Now getting old and retired.

Trump's relation with the bank was a win-win situation. Both are winners as the bank grows, and Trump's business grows.

Trump complied with all the requirements and paid the loan according to the contractual obligations.

The bank and Trump are winners, preserving the integrity of their business.

Nobody was hurt.

More later, got to go for appointment.

Ask and ye shall receive:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/chasewithorn/2022/09/21/how-forbes-exposed-trumps-lies-about-the-size-of-his-penthouse/?sh=2aed3b0758ec

The relevant excerpt...."Records show Trump acquiring a 6,096-square-foot triplex apartment, occupying sections of floors 66 through 68, around the time Trump Tower opened in 1983. A decade later he expanded his penthouse, merging parts of two neighboring apartments into his home, according to the filings. The end result is 10,996 square feet of prime Manhattan real estate—a massive residence, no doubt, but much smaller than what Trump claims to own. No records filed with the city indicate that he has added or shed square footage in the years since."

The relevant answers to your questions are in the following thread. But, since you were the first respondent, either you didn't finish it or couldn't/wouldn't comprehend the offered explanation.

My understanding is: 1.) Yes and 2.) No. But then, that isn't part of their argument - is it? The banks aren't suing Trump. Over the years, he's probably made them MANY millions.

My understanding t adding is loans were paid off and no damage to institutions . My question is " if Property was over assessed, why wasn't it caught by lender? I've bought two homes and had to show market value in both cases.

And IF all this fails, will they opt for the ultimate solution? I believe they will, everything they've worked so hard for would be destroyed otherwise. OR, have they planned that far ahead knowing the unrest it would cause giving them the excuse to impose Martial Law and round up 'enemies of the state' and execute the leadership. Does that sound too far fetched?
Thinking outside the box: br And IF all this fails... (show quote)

YES! It DOES sound too far fetched!
Just like mandated masks, mandated vaccines, putting tens of thousands of people out of work and ending their military careers for refusing to take an experimental drug, printing TRILLIONS of dollars in worthless money, and electing a corrupt politician with a 20 year history of selling political influence to China and in Europe..........all of it SOUNDS too far fetched.

Actually Kevyn one of the best definitions I ever heard was from a real estate agent talking to my parents. "The house is worth exactly what the next person who walks through the front door is willing to pay for it."

That's what Xi Jinping said about Joe Biden!

Your choice is meaningless. NO lending institution takes the word of ANYone as to the value of collateral for a loan. They have professional appraisers that evaluate and assign the value before the loan is processed.
Has an auto dealership ever given you more for a trade in vehicle in order to sell you a new car? What if you sell an antique piece of furniture and then the buyer claims it was worth less than your asking price? And let's not even GO to what this concept would do to the art world, where EVERYTHING's value is determined by fluid opinions.
By the way, is the judge committing a crime by setting values of property without a state license? On loans that occurred years ago? Just asking.
