I agree let them be married. Here is the if. Pretty simple one too. If they don't want "special rights and don't try to ram them down our throats." Then yes let the government get involved. Here the gubmint will probably be on their side anyway. The bulk of people is another story entirely. Then it becomes a lock n' load issue.
