Who Gives A Damn Whether Two Q***rs Get Married?

As Steny Hoyer said, he's shocked at conservatives that believe they should get involved in this, it's none of the government's business what two people who love each other do.

So if it's none of the government's business what two people do, why should a person's personal religious beliefs be respected in regards to interfering with what two free citizens want to do?

The (religious) right has their noses in people's business in a way that is purely unacceptable. What any gay couple wants to do has absolutely nothing to do with any other person...it is judgmental and nasty to worry about other people

Who gives a damn whether two q***rs want to live together in a civil union sanctioned by the government. No one!
The left spends all it's time redefining words, such as marriage.

The answer to your question is that moral people care. What would the corollary to that be?

Why is the government involved in a marriage of any two people no matter who they are?

Marriage is wh**ever you want it to be, it used to be that religiously conservative people copped an attitude about living together without being married...the bottom line is mind your own frigging business about what two other people want to do...

...for the party of freedom and wanting the government to stay out of people's business they are all over gay people's freedoms on this one.

I do mind my own business about what a person, two people, or more, do in the privacy of their own homes. What they do in public is another matter. My point, if you had the smarts and intelligence to understand plain English, is that these should be called a Civil Union or some other term besides Marriage. When I see two homosexuals refer to each other as Husbands or Wives, it's just another attempt by the left to usurp the meaning of language, just as you are doing by calling marriage wh**ever you want it to be as if you were a character from Alice in Wonderland ("A word means what I want it to mean"). Now go back to diddling your partner and STFU because you are the bigoted secularist here. You disdain for religion is obvious.

No, it isn't moral people, it's religiously righteous people, because there are a whole lot of moral people that do not believe it is anyone else's business what gay people do with their lives.

The legal definition of marriage has a lot of financial and legal implications...estate protection, tax benefits, healthcare, etc.

And yes, I've always thought that they should have simply established a category called civil union that got them the same legal advantages of marriage, it really doesn't matter what it's called.

In your definition of moral (religious) people, they have a problem with gays no matter what it's called

Minding your own business involves keeping your religious beliefs at home or in church with other people who share the same beliefs.

There is no such thing as a marriage between two q***rs. Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. That being said, I have no problem with two q***rs have a civil union. And if you are a q***r, admit it and don't get married to a member of the opposite sex. They deserve better.

As Steny Hoyer said, he's shocked at conservatives... (show quote)

6.7 billion out of 7.9 billion people on this planet are religious.
1/3rd are Christian, 1/4 Muslim, the remainder follow polytheistic religions.
Considering that 85% of the world population is religious,
you're gonna have a difficult time making a reasonable argument that religion has no influence on human affairs, government or otherwise.

In the month of Tammuz (June), 1969, near the Summer Solstice, NYPD raided the Stonewall Inn, an illegal gay bar in Greenwich Village owned by the Mafia. The homosexuals, male prostitutes, t**********es, d**g q***ns, and even a few lesbians r**ted. The violence grew so intense, the police barricaded themselves in the bar. This uprising smashed open the gates for the Gay P***e movement to begin its war on Christianity and morals in general.

Since then, the Gay P***e movement celebrates the uprising every year in the month of Tammuz.
The garish marches, processions, rituals, and celebrations became a sacred event throughout America and across the world. The month of Tammuz became Gay P***e Month.

In the month of Tammuz, June 26, 2003, near the Summer Solstice, in Lawrence vs Texas,
the US Supreme Court legalized homosexuality in America.

In the month of Tammuz, June 26, 2013, near the Summer Solstice, in United States vs Windsor,
the US Supreme Court overturned the Defense of Marriage Act which led to the federal government recognizing same sex marriage.

In the month of Tammuz, June 26, 2015, near the Summer Solstice, in Obergefell vs Hodges,
the US Supreme Court struck down the historic, Biblical, age-old definition of marriage as the union of a man and a woman. This decision legalized same-sex marriage in America.

If you don't know who Tammuz is and his significance in all this, I suggest you get cracking with some serious research.
A good point to begin would be to read Stephen Langdon's Tammuz and Ishtar.

Note also that Tammuz is a month on the ancient Hebrew calendar.

You are so wrong with this statement. Minding your own business does not mean having to hide your own business from public view if you choose not to do so.
