"Attacks on the courts, education, the right to vote and women’s rights are further steps on the path to toppling democracy" - from the Guardian article

Who has attacked the courts?? Examples?? What I see are leftists protesting in front of justices homes, illegal by the way. I see the leftist gov ignoring that fact. I see them doxing court justices. I see leftists attacking federal court buildings in Oregon and elsewhere.

Attacks on education?? Educators are trying to insert CRFT and gender confused idiocy into the curriculum/banning books like Ton Sawyer/removing anything and everything about the south from history classes/promoting racist ideologies/promoting white shame and instilling racist ideas in our children at ages when they haven't even noticed racial differences. Calling math racist/diluting curriculum in the name of inclusiveness. Parents arent attacking education but rather trying to keep things better taught at home out of the class room.

Attacks on the right to vote? No. Us "fascists" are very pro-voting but only one vote per person and no votes by non-citizens or dead people; it's why these mail in ballots are so questionable. Of course you know that. We also like to know who you are when you vote so yes, pro-voter ID.

Attacks on women's rights? Hmmm. I suppose you mean the right to an abortion. Do you think the repeal of Roe vs Wade took that away? In some states yes, but all it truly did was to put it in the state's hands. It is not a federal issue. You'd be surprised how many of us fascists think there should be exceptions for rape ad incest as well as a longer period within which an abortion can be performed. We don't support abortion as birth control and we do believe in responsibility. If you can't control your self and take precautions to keep from getting preggars, maybe you aren't mature enough to be having sex to begin with. Life is a process of nature and as such should be respected and contemplated carefully. Don't mess with mother nature by having abortion after abortion.

Now what exactly is toppling democracy??

You're on the right path, Slatten49, but your estimates as to how many belong to each sub-group is way off. And I base this on what's happening in the primaries. You're watching a party shedding dead wood in it's attempt to remove those who think that "They govern". They are supposed to represent the people who elected them. Liz Cheney was so out of touch with the people of one of the (if not THE) most conservative states in the US, that she lost by an enormous margin. You can try to explain that any way you want - it doesn't change the fact that those of us who are pro America First agenda now seem to control the party. BTW, your remarks about Dick Cheney are hilarious.

Liz Cheney ignoring her constituents was the biggest act against democracy ever. Thus they brought back democracy by voting her WAY out, losing by what 31% or was it 41%. That is the democracy at work. WE vote for those who represent us and against those who do not.

It now seems that the Republicans are now on the path of getting rid of the RINO's and I have to laugh at Lizzie she thought with her and father's names would make her a shoo in and in every picture of her she has the personality of a hedge post

Actually, just as you have so many times described in response to others' comments, the entire posting. I even threw in your use of repetitive LOLs. I'm quite certain you understood my intent of 'tit for tat'.

In response to the OP it looks fractured, not in the process of fracturing.

The article made claims that the republicans were doing some bad things. I pointed out how the leftist dems are actually the ones doing what they claimed the GOP is doing.

I'm sure you understand that.

This has always been the case and it's sad the Republicans don't seem to mind it and the Democrats always gets free pass

Yes, I understand there are flaws within both parties. Naturally, OPP posters appear to accentuate primarily the flaws (supposed or otherwise) against those that go against their own partisan/ideological views.
