Perhaps you could call Southwest and bore them into changing their policy with all this defiant claptrap. The point of my story is that by buying a ticket for this flight and knowing full well ahead of time what the flight rules were, this woman demanded an exception for herself at a moment when she thought the pilot could not turn back and she could get away with it. She ended up sitting in the empty airport all night, had to buy another ticket on another airline, forced to wear a mask for that flight anyway plus faces criminal charges for endangerment.
Too bad, so sad.

On the door of my business establishment I have a sign explaining my company policy with masks. It concludes with bold print:
NO MASK - NO ENTRY

I support your right to choose no mask, but I also support my right to deny entry to you based on my view (and the collective view of my staff) that going maskless in indoor spaces is reckless and ill advised.

8. Cloth masks may increase the risk of contracting Covid-19 and other respiratory infections.

Airlines are one thing...really? Flip out and attack people because stewards ask you to wear a mask that is was made perfectly clear you would be required to wear? This is behavior that airlines are going to have to start putting air marshalls onboard so that they can effectively end outbursts with whatever force they deem necessary...I'm thinking a million volt zap, and wake up zip tied, and carried off to jail when you arrive at your destination. The penalties need to be extreme enough to just plain make this not worth it. People just want to get where they are going without the drama and entertainment of total frigging idiots.

Now this is boiling over into hospitals...people who for different reasons centered around freedom, ignorance, and political statements, are bringing their special brand of anger and rage to hospitals and the healthcare workers that have nothing to do with whatever has people's panties in such a bunch.

Those who are unvaccinated need to keep a few realities right close to mind that they wouldn't even be there if they had simply gotten vaccinated. Keep in mind that many many doctors and nurses have an attitude about being forced to take care of people that do not care about them or anyone else...copping an angry belligerent attitude towards the people your life may be depending on isn't very smart. There has to be at least a half dozen little things they are doing that make a difference that nobody would be the wiser if they simply didn't have the time for.

As a hospital administrator, if someone threatened one of the doctors or nurses they would be ejected from the hospital so fast their heads would spin. This is the new face of right wing domestic terrorism...it's being brought to travel and now hospitals.

You think you have some sort of right to be in that hospital, you better think again, because they have rights to decide who makes the cut when they are full up with unvaccinated people.

I will put cool and collected consequences against uncontrolled rage any time.

Every time you attempt to prove that the left are the “cool and collected” and the right as “uncontrolled rage” you fall short on proving it! LOL!

You’re right! “Angry out of control people are just that, they are a menace to society”……Below is just one story that people without masks are being attacked!

https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/man-attacked-by-store-employee-for-not-wearing-mask

Perry showed FOX 5 the injuries he said he received during the violent encounter with a worker at this Family Dollar on MLK Drive in southwest Atlanta on Tuesday morning.

Perry told FOX 5 he stopped at the store on his way to work and forgot to put on his mask before entering the business. A male employee confronted Perry for not wearing the face covering.

Perry said, "He referred to the policy at the front. He said, 'You have to have a mask,' and I was trying to explain to him, I said 'Yeah, I'm sorry I kind of forgot it in the midst of me rushing to work. I apologize.'"

Perry said the man followed him to the checkout counter, hurling insults at him as the store manager tried to diffuse the situation. Perry decided he'd had enough.

"In the midst of me leaving, this gentleman reaches into his waistband, grabbed a gun, and hit me in the back of my head with it," said Perry.

Perry called the police. Medics transported the 40-year-old man to the hospital for treatment for a head wound. In the police report obtained by FOX 5, the responding officer states a store surveillance camera recorded the incident. An APD spokesman said the investigation is ongoing.

Perry said the man pushed him out of the store after striking him, got in his car, and drove off.

"I'm very concerned that this is going on because no one knew he had a weapon but him. He could've killed me, he could've killed an employee, he could've killed a child. This is alarming to me that this could happen," Perry said.

Store management referred FOX 5 to their corporate headquarters for comment, but have not received a response.

Here is more evidence of attacks from masked bullying!

I know what you mean, I felt the same way as "peaceful protesters' were looting stores and assaulting people while unmasked. How dare they expose me to Covid while looting and burning my business? My point is: I see so much hypocrisy when it comes to some people as opposed to others"! Remember the plane full of entitled Dems running away from their responsibilities "mask less" and spreading Covid in DC.

Perhaps in your religious fervor to prosecute your case against mask wearing you could actually examine what you posted which appears to be a comparative study between the relative efficacy of cloth masks and medical masks. It does not support your blanket claim that all mask wearing is a danger to your health and even provides a box defining the limitations of the study but what are mere trifles like this on the alter of monumental obstinacy.

The story of the woman on the plane was to illustrate how some people seem to think that the rules they agreed to can be subverted on a childish whim to get attention and inconvenience and endanger others.
The message of this “Karen” was “your health and safety - my choice ”.

As I said, I support your right to not wear a mask and not get vaccinated. You seem to have problem with my and other businesses (including air and public transportation) rights to follow official CDC and Medical Guidelines and deny entry if you refuse to follow these protocols.

I wish you luck as you spin the chamber on the Refusenik Revolver.

The prejudicial claim forms are more about racism than medical history. Medical history, such as vaccines and other drug therapies and treatments, is IMPORTANT for the treatment of the patient at the hospital they present at. The color of their skin is not. But they're not asking if they've been vaccinated....a very important question about the patient's medical history.

The point is, all these "unvaccinated" people you say are filling up the hospitals are more likely vaccinated! You might want to think about that when you go spouting off about numbers of unvaccinated filling up hospitals!

I provided backup. Where is yours?

While COVID-19 cases continue to spike across the US, the overwhelming majority of deaths and hospitalizations from the virus continue to overwhelmingly be among unvaccinated Americans, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As of Aug. 30, a little over 1.6 million Americans were hospitalized with COVID-19 — but only about 0.65 percent of them, or 10,471 patients, were fully vaccinated, the CDC data show.

They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,BLM Antifa or people threatening those who are just trying to do their job. MSM plays up on that while minimizing the riots and killings last year! We have to change the narrative not constantly be played as extremist. The current Sh’t show by this administration wants to divert attention away from their incompetence

Precisely the POINT! Cloth masks don't work! Paper masks even less. That particular study was done in 2015 - BEFORE Covid....and they were pointing out then how cloth masks DO NOT work. Did this just fly right over your head? Or maybe your brain has become fogged because the drugs you got injected into your body are passing your brain barrier and turning your brain to mush. (It takes a few years...so you'll just have to see...)

You know, you sound just like a Karen yourself.....I wish YOU luck as your immune system becomes permanently damaged, and you catch every damned virus and bug that floats by you! Masks will be the least of your worries...and soon.

I have a medical exemption from my doctor because of Asthma and allergies that I've shown now three times when I flew to visit my grandkids...no problems with anyone on the planes.

You have no idea what that woman's story is. Maybe she's a jerk, maybe not....but you don't know her. There are plenty of vaccinated jerks who think they are superior to others because they've taken the drugs. Well, I have news for you....we feel just the same about you vaxxers. We see you as dangerous to OUR health... So get off your high horse, you are no better than anyone else. No one died and made you the judge of everyone.

My CHOICE is not your CHOICE.

I bet you that airline had rules about masks, too. BUT....As usual..."Rules for Thee but Not for Me" is the Dem motto.
