From listening to the democrats, when Trump fired (or tried to fire) department heads that he believed to be incompetent or operating contrary to his policies, it was politics at its worst and how horrible it was that he was trying to destroy that particular government agency. Now that Biden is doing (or trying to do) the same thing, it is a great thing for the country. If it was bad for Trump to do it, then it is bad for Biden to do it. Either be consistent of STFU.

For your info I put that in for retirement I'm 70 some people are older it all I could count on. If they screw with s/s I'm going to have to go back to work full time. Right now I'm on workman's comp and in court, because they won't pay or settle so I'm between a rock and a hard place I cant move forward or back and barely make enough to pay bills forget food. Others are even worse off then me

Instead ss is being given to people who've never contributed

You are stuck between a couple of our most popular social programs: social security and workman's comp. Are you also on Medicare? Have you applied for food stamps yet? Democrats keep coming up with the craziest programs to help old people who land between a rock and a hard place.

However, the SS contributions were never placed in a walled off account. They go into main Treasury to be spent each year. The money was never invested which is why SS will be another broken system . Just some thoughts.
