You're so welcome but, no, no, no, please strike lady. This is the time and, this is the place for sure! You have me laughing, you have that quaint "Mom" quality that I really enjoy. Kind of like, "run along kid, your momma's callin' and, you do it with all that lady finesse, with "no spittin', chewin' or, cussin'". That's all I want to do is influence opinions, in a positive way, whenever I can. What heaven movie did you see? I heard about the "God Is Not Dead" movie and, that it was worth the price of admission. I'm afraid that if it's not on Netflix yet, I haven't seen it. Such is my life.

Just a euphemism....don't know who you are, but I really don't discuss some topics on here with those whose reasoning has no logic. You probably know who. So, no offense meant. I just will not be drawn into anything with any semblance of illogical and circuitous reasoning (or lack thereof) similar to Brian Devon and a couple of others.
If you were "around" in the 40's, you must be about my age. I'm 71, and been around the block enough to know there's no point wasting my time on insanity like some seen here.

I think lady just "bitch slaps" him without giving it another thought. Before you find that last comment offensive, lemme define "bitch slap" okay? To open handedley slap someone. Denote disrespect for the person being bitch slapped as they are not worthy of a man sized punch.

I'm sure you know my frustration with the kid....Lordy, if he'd been mine, he might have been in mortal danger. LOL There are some who push the limits of tolerance, and he is one.
I am usually in better temperament. BUT....I've left the site before out of lack of patience, and will not do that this time. It's been "dished", and I was polite and just went away for a while. This time, the "dishers" can count on double or triple helpings.
Part of the "temperament" is that I WAS a VERY active person, but now need two knee replacements....which will come later this summer. And, it HURTS.....which only burns the fuse a little shorter and little hotter.
I'll get along with anyone, but, dinggit....having to deal with two or three on here makes me realize they are at a distance....and LOL....much safer than if they were close. I might just "bitch slap" them....literally....if they were close enough. Ah, guess verbally will have to do.

I know you don't really, it's "just a euphemism"..., Brian is very fortunate that humans don't eat their young (that often anyway). I get a kick out of his posts, well I get a kick out of responding to them at times I mean. I can see where and how you can get your buttons pushed on OPP. You've got the right attitude though, stand your ground, opinions are like..., well, you know?
I can truly empathize about the pain and need for joint replacements. Knees I understand are (here's where I cross my fingers) not so painful. That being said, please advise me when you have this done so that I can be conveniently absent from here. Good luck & take care!

Thank you, Yes we are about the same age. My original post was questioning you about why you didn't answer Augustis (Spelling?) He seemed to have legitimate questions or comments. Or maybe you and he have an unpleasant past. Anyway, That's all I wanted to know on my first post to you.

Peaver...it's good to meet you. And....I don't answer that little twerp because he and Devon run down the same path....to insanity. You could tell them a hundred times, you could be logical, God could write it in stone.......but, to those two, it wouldn't mean a thing. So....let them take a hike.....away from anywhere that I am, 'cause dealing with a broken record is a waste of time. I might waste time on some things...but at my age, it sure as heck isn't going to be either of them.

I feel the same way about Devon, but I have not seen many of the others posts. I reckon I'll have to pay more attention.

Peaver, I feel there have to be several, if not many, that are in accord about Devon.
Ya' know, the whole thing is, I came on this site three or four times........and, Peaver, to some you simply ARE NOT allowed an opinion...unless it is in agreement with theirs. Now, you can tell that I don't put up with much, but it was like being bludgeoned to death by these guys....and one woman who was so bad that I reported....and she hasn't shown up again...unless under a different handle and greatly modified behavior.
I live alone, Peaver, in a 4 bedroom house. I am a loner....used to live 60 miles from the nearest town and 11 miles to the nearest neighbor---and loved it....but, sometimes, when it's too painful to get out, it's nice to have some conversation with others without getting squished into a puddle in the dust.
There are some really nice individuals here, and I truly appreciate those. I guess I'm "on the fight" because of previous experiences. But, I just won't tolerate the likes of Devon.

Peaver, I live in town now. We sold the ranch, 187 sections, bordering the Acoma and Laguna Reservations in New Mexico....to the Acoma Indians. So, it's where it belongs. But, I can go back there anytime, and do every few years. It was wonderful. But....I left after the second time I lay on a crash cart in Presbyterian Hospital...after it took my "loving" husband over 3 hours to get me to town....and I nearly died. Things are never as they appear, Peaver.

Interesting dialog.SW, your 'impressive'...I, have had a most 'difficult time', aligning with any one (1), religious 'faith'. There are so many out there. Most are 501(c)3's or 'tax deductible CORPORATIONS. (:-
