How you and others can so easily overlook that the country was "stolen" from Native Indians and others who lived here centuries before the Pilgrims is beyond me. You seem to have no remorse, sympathy, or empathy for those you robbed - yet have the audacity to believe that those immigrants -who seek the same freedoms and right to life that the Pilgrims fled England for - are wrong for wanting a better life for their families. How do you justify such mean callousness?
"Lo the poor Indian."
The easiest place for us to go when you go on your "shame on you nasty Republicans spree" is to remind you of the Progressive successful push for abortion rights legislation: (how can something so wrong be called a right?) Thus far well over 60 million killings. No need to mention all the hedonistic behavior you celebrate and encourage or what you did to slaves. Get off your .25 cents a ride Walmart steed, your high horse, focus in tightly, and see if you are able to differentiate between illegal aliens and lawful immigrants. Illegal aliens are an invasion, "an unwelcome intrusion into another's domain." We open our arms to legal immigrants while your lawless liars convince their political children there is little difference between the two.
I'm guessing you heard that some "hate the Pilgrims for coming to America" jerks, those who have been taught that America is evil - regardless of her being the nation that has saved the world - who side with progressive anti American sentiments just vandalized Plymouth Rock painting it red.
Sir Walter Scott wrote a poem;
"Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne’er within him burn’d,
As home his footsteps he hath turn’d,
From wandering on a foreign strand!
If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonour’d, and unsung."
In America today we have hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of native born Americans, followers of the Progressive philosophy and agenda, that can only find fault with America, who are so blatantly stupid they believe they can change history by tearing down statues.
