Thank our Almighty God, Radiance. As Denzel Washington told the graduating class at Dillard University, "Put God first in everything you do."

I always say a short prayer before I take on a challenge. This Menorah and the communion cups beside it pushed my wood craft skills to the limit. I prayed a lot during this project, I asked the Nazarene Carpenter for guidance. His Spirit was with me throughout, and He lifted me up when I hit a wall. Since I do not have a wood working shop, except for some work with a Dremel tool and a power drill, most of the work was with hand tools, and a lot of sandpaper. The menorah project took 6 months to complete.

The wine colored communion cup was carved from a single piece of wood, no part is glued or tacked on. The five fingers holding the cup are symbolic.

All of the wood for these projects came from a local Cottonwood tree that was felled by lightning. I discovered it when the branches were almost perfectly cured for carving.

Oh, how beautiful and wonderful those carvings are. I am filled with awe and wonder. The Holy Spirit has filled you with that wisdom. I think you had experienced a miracle. That's what happens when God is always on top of our minds, and hearts. The very beautiful Menorah, and the Communion Cup are so amazingly beautiful, curved from the special wood around you. I can see you are surrounded with the bounty of nature. That is why God is so close to you.

That communion cup, you've designed is so a beautiful with the 5 fingers.I could picture Jesus's fingers when He offered the cup to His Disciples. We use the silver cup during our communion offering, and I do that every Sunday. Your cup is very special.

You are dead wrong about that “most scholars do not”. And its interesting you are going to a secular source over the bible.

The verses have been shown numerous times showing the triune nature of God. Especially John 1.

You have often demonstrated you don’t believe the bible is the inerrant word of God. You’ve manufactured your own doctrine of salvation. That is a pattern with those who deny the trinity.

You also tend to take verses out of context. If you can you should get a good teacher.

I see that your comment was deleted. I asked Rumi to clarify his statement that what I stated was false doctrine! He often makes these kind of statements and then disappears. If a person criticizes a person’s beliefs and calls them false then they should be able to explain why! I don’t think that is an unreasonable request!

I have no problem with someone defending another person’s beliefs that they agree with, many of us do this, but we can’t answer questions for them that are directed at them! At least, we shouldn’t! The doctrine that I stated came out of the Bible, the Bible that was “God Breathed”........ the very words of God!
