Really? Most of the ones I've seen are hardened gang members in prison, just getting out of prison or about to go to prison
at $40k per inmate per year!Good! They can foot the bill for all their compadres!

They work hard, pay into SSA, even though they will never draw on it.
And ONE trip to the ER can cost more than every dollar they make...

Our history of bringing in immigrants has never been very good for the immigrants. When the Iriah were coming in because of the potato famine, the signs said "No dogs or Irish allowed." When it was the Italians it was just as derogatory. Same with the Chinese when they were building the railroads. When the Vietnamese came in during the 70's, they caught the same flack. I think only the blacks were welcomed with open arms, and oh yeah, chains.
Whatever kind of racial guilt you assume...just assume you can carry it by yourself.

For a good economy, unemployment should be around 5%. That is normal with people moving from one job to another. When it is below 5%, that is a sign we need more workers. Our economy needs more Mexicans to do grunt work.
Wrong. Our economy needs
unemployed and low skill Americans to do those jobs.
When I got out of prison in 2003 I tried to get a job picking onions with a local farmer who turned me down because I didn't speak Spanish.
In 2010 I got a job processing fish in Dutch Harbor AK. I worked 7 days a week, 12 hours a day for 4 months. I stayed in Dutch Harbor for 5 years.
Foreign nationals from all over the world worked there because Americans have been convinced they're too good for grunt work...just like the
hag is too good for the law.
BS on both counts.

We should be having government programs that are bringing workers in, vetting them in the process. Building walls that keep foreigners out is counter productive. Having strong Ports of Entry with good immigrant screening programs will keep the drugs out and our economy growing.
Treating people derogatorily doesn't really help anything.
We might need more workers after we put our own people to work but the government can't manage its way out of a wet paper sack. We don't need the government to fix it...
We need them to quit breaking it.
