Well then, I guess we're talking plain old vanilla murder, right?

One comes under u.n sanctions...the other comes under u.s. law. In either case obama earned my disrespect for doing that. He should have at least had a public trial in absentia.
I wonder if any of the muslim haters approve of the killing

I find it interesting what different cultures think about each other. That's all. I've traveled many muslim, hindu, buddist, & christian countries & love to interrelate.
I do care.

I think it goes to the stat that much of what we learn comes from without. I loved to travel, & travel via surface transport, offers a lot of opportunity to interact with regular folks. My business travel, while a lot more comfortable, didn't allow for much of that..$$$ was the primary motivator.

I don't know but war crimes are against another country....not individuals of the same country.

Not true -- when we were done bombing Bosnia to cinders and took the country away from Slobodin Milosevic, he was tried for exactly that, war crimes -- only the "war" crimes he was prosecuted for (they weren't successful) were the supposed "ethnic cleansing" of Albanian Muslims living in his country.

The war didn't start until we (and some European allies) invaded his country.

So say "Sorry, Larry, you were right and I was wrong."

Ah, but he wasn't convicted, was he, therefore he didn't commit the crime he was charged with, right?

That entire thing was B.S.

Milosevic was into Bosnian sovereignty, and wouldn't be absorbed by the EU. Albanian Muslims were proliferating in Bosnia, trying to do the same thing there that Muslim "refugees" are today doing in EU countries -- a demographics-based invasion, and Milosevic was having none of it.

Germany wanted more influence in the Balkans. So... They had the Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND, their external intelligence agency) whip up the whole ethnic cleansing scenario. Western countries, the media, everybody was "outraged," so with President William J. Clinton taking the lead, we invaded Bosnia.

I was in New York at the time, and I knew of several young Bosnian men who left and went "home" to fight for Milosevic.

So... After we all kicked his ass and took away his country, he sat in captivity for about 5 years, during which time the prosecution couldn't prove a thing.

But he was on trial for, specifically, "War Crimes."

So... After 5 years of the allied powers being unable to produce any definitive evidence of the charges against him, he became a major embarrassment to the Clinton Administration and those of the other countries involved, to say nothing of the U.N. and the world media.

His medication was withheld, so he died in captivity. Cold blooded murder at the hands of Bubba Clinton, European leaders, the U.N....

Suddenly, nobody was talking about Bosnia anymore, especially an embarrassed media.

It seems whenever there's any kind of large, disruptive "episode" in Europe, Germany has something to do with it....

Then why do you blame all conservatives to be racist's, bigots, Nazi's or white supremacists in about every post made by the progressive left, which you seem to be attached? Then you claim the Democrats of the South are now the Republicans, what a laugh. The most racist elements of the Democratic party are still Democrats. Just look at their posts, saying the right are all racists, bigots, and other foul names. You really need to come out from under that rock you have been hiding under for many years. That vision of yours is only in your dreams.

I think the word is projection.

Nancy got the votes she wanted today...I don't think that counts as losing control of her party. Of course donny says otherwise

I'm glad Nancy got her votes. It is a small victory in her war with the hateful freshmen Congress ladies. I don't care much for Nancy, but I am on her side in this cat fight. The hateful racism, anti-Semitism, and anti-Americanism of these four ladies has no place in Congress. They shoot their mouths off about the crisis at the border, condemning the administration for poor conditions, yet they were the only four Democrats to vote against financial support to improve the situation.
