"Progressivism," according to "progressives," is "moving forward."

Unfortunately, the route they want us to follow will have us moving forward toward a very steep cliff...

Liberals are not all the same; they just act like lemmings though.
All willing to go over a cliff that stares them in the eyes.

Read the Declaration of Independence and you are reading the first document ever penned by progressives. Progressives such as Jefferson, Madison, Washington, Franklin, etc were in our government from the beginning. Even the only mention of God is progressive and inclusive of any religious, or not, belief. Would a Christian god allow for the worship of any god or no god at all? The progressives who wrote our constitution did.

And Borg collective? The Democrat Party is made up of all religious beliefs and non-beliefs. It is made up of intellectuals and union member working men and women. You can believe in Capitalism or Socialism or any mixture thereof and still call yourself a democrat. You can be a liberal, a moderate, or a conservative and still be a Democrat.

You Republican's though--you HAVE to be a conservative, preferably white, and the further to the right the better. You have to be religious, preferably Christian, and definitely NOT a Muslim. You have to be militaristic and anti-intellectual--Science is secondary to the plurality of the masses--the more who believe something the more it AFFIRMS what you believe to be true.

So who more closely fits being a member of the Borg? Why you conservatives of course. In fact, to you, the more one deviates from the principles of conservatism the greater your hostility towards them...Senator John McCain would be a prime example of someone purged from the conservative collective.

Lastly, Conservatism is a reductive ideology where any deviation from what is perceived to be the center and you are expunged--rejected from being part of the collective. You are either a conservative or you aren't. Different ideologies, or deviations from conservatism, simply isn't tolerated. Conservatism is the definition of what it is to be a Borg.

Your seventh paragraph is an unadulterated lie. Non of the people you have referred to were Republicans, they were Democrats. There were many other false thing you have posted by I don't lhave the time to debate with you the total number of falsehoods you referred to.

Over a cliff perhaps to talk with the GOP where they live?

Liberalism comes in several stages and levels
Temporary insanity
Mental disorder
Mental Disease
Psychosis

It's also extremely difficult to treat, just look at how old some "liberalism" sufferers are, like Nickolai or, if his photo is accurate, Permafrost, in his pic's Louis L'amour imitation).

Even Medicare can't help them.

I've been told that any of us could be "nuts" and not know it, that most folks who are "round the bend," as some Brits would say, have no clue that they have gone mad, and that many madmen live normal, often ultra-productive lives, some geniuses, without anybody else ever realizing they are in any way a******l.

They probably think everyone else is mad.

To a lot of them; prayer is not an option.

Reading the occasional outburst from the likes of Kevin or the Guru of the Woodless, one can see where any options are few and far between, if there are any at all. In the scheme of things, they are probably already toast.
