What I learned about Liberals in my Conservative Stalag of 4 days

Starting at around 7AM, there was a steady stream on the radio as we were driving of what a Liberal was and the threat. From their point of view, I was frightened of my party. Are all Liberals the same? What do you think?

I think there is nothing "liberal" about the left in America. And yes the goal is the "fundamental t***sformation" of this country. For decades the Democrat/socialist Party was satisfied with incrementally injecting socialism into our system of governance. The new radicals have ripped the mask off and are demanding open socialism. And as always, throughout history, first it's propaganda, then coercion, and finally violence. And of course any and all dissent must be crushed. Why do think there are over 112 million and counting deaths connected to socialist utopias, and that doesn't count the millions of people imprisoned and tortured. It is astounding that the left actually tells us their goals and agenda, but many refuse to take them at their word, which is a mistake.

I do not listen to or let propaganda get to me. The pissing match that ensues when the arguments begin are insanity nothing more. You want to be a radical fine--do not expect me to be.

Liberals are absolutely NOT all the same. Most are now l*****ts. Many are socialists, Marxists, and C*******ts. They are the problem! Liberals, as most Democrats were in the days of John Kennedy were good people; I v**ed for many of them along the way. I am actually quite liberal in many of my attitudes, but an economic Conservative. L*****ts have commandeered a majority of liberals with their political correctness, identity politics, victimhood, and r****m. The 2020 Democrat P**********l candidates are stumbling all over each other to out-left each other. It's a circus of leftism. Nancy Pelosi, who is not a l*****t, has lost control of her party. The news is becoming quite amusing as the l*****ts and the liberals squabble.

There is an oft repeated historical precedent, if you want to call it that, set by previous socialist experimentation, one that has never failed to conclude the same way: with an abundance of misery for all those not in charge of the system and certainly anyone who complained about the misery, protested it or took a political course toward opposing it.

Its foundation in America is already laid: a left wing controlled education system that teaches revisionist history and discourages or turns a blind eye to the aggressive discouragement of conservative dialogue, a left wing biased media that politically weaponizes "the news," a highly potent social media that labels any dissent as "h**e speech" and either deletes their access or "shadow bans" them, political "correctness," identity politics to keep various Americans on different teams, so-called social "justice" to buy v**es from people whose support they need for the moment, a violent group like A****a, reminiscent more and more of the N**i Brownshirts whose acts are either downplayed or flat-out ignored by both the far left's bought-and-paid-for Democrats and the mainstream media, though certain l*****t university professors apparently encourage such action among their students.

The relentless taxation and regulation that k**ls American jobs, the left-handed legislation and intimidation geared not-so-subtly towards the micromanagement of the private sector, stacking the courts, when they are in power, with "liberal" activist judges rather than followers of the Constitution -- and since Trump's e******n, the Democratic Party's unending pursuit of a reason, any reason, real or not, to impeach a sitting president, to the exclusion of all else, amid a non-stop battery of invective, jokes about beheading him... 😐

I won't even bother getting into the open borders bit, the tearing down of historic monuments, the like-it-or-not force feeding we're getting of t*********rism and L***Q from the same side of the political divide that legally pursued a baker, a tax paying private businessman, because he refused to violate the tenets of his religion, and the same side that, while attacking Christianity at every opportunity, looks the other way when Muslims are involved in their own religious activities, and the same side that would deny our friends the Israelis the right to protect their country and citizens against terrorism.

The greatest difference between the left and the right in today's America is that we on the right are defending America's values as a nation. Our Constitution, including the Bill of Rights, our way of life, the left threatens to take it all away. In many ways, our resistance to what today's Democrats are trying to force on us is a form of self defense.

The left, meanwhile, is no different to us than a foreign invader, attacking our country from within, abusing our liberties by weaponizing them against us, their goal being that of doing to us what socialism has always done to countries and their people.

The left, by its own M.O. of t***sferrence, pushes the falsehood that conservatives, Judeo-Christians and anyone else who stands in their way are the aggressors here, but we're not: they are, and we won't just stand there like sheep while they steal our great country out from under us using a coordinated barrage of lies and deception.

So don't take offense if some of us occasionally seem a bit angry. We have good reason to be enraged!

Today's conservatism is centered around fear so to paint liberals as a fearsome evil they have to paint us all the same. The problem is we belong to the Democrat party and it is a party made up of right of center conservatives too far left of center radicals. Where are the liberals in there? Well, you have to take a two-thirds slice between the conservative side and the radical side.

Conservatives, of course, want to paint everyone in the Democratic party as far left radicals because the only thing they offer the country is that they will protect them from all the things they fear--and those things, of course, Conservatives make them up as they go. So to answer your question--you will seldom find two Democrats who believe the same much less liberals who are as individualistic as you can get.

A better question is: Are all conservatives the same and there you would have to say that the propensity for conservatism is sameness and the further you are from center-right the more radical you are perceived to be.

Conservatism is an ideology of sameness that is moving in a regressive manner such that men like McCain and Romney--who were at the head of the party just a few years ago--are now seen as radical l*****ts neither of which could be trusted.

When we look at the Democrat party from Kennedy to Obama we see a party that has purged itself of the more r****t elements in it for whom the Republican party was happy to accept. Snip>>The night that Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, his special assistant Bill Moyers was surprised to find the president looking melancholy in his bedroom. Moyers later wrote that when he asked what was wrong, Johnson replied, “I think we just delivered the South to the Republican party for a long time to come.”

Johnson was near right as the conservatives who had long made up the Dixiecrats of the Democrat South started to migration from the Democrat Party to the Republican Party and along with them went the most r****t elements in the Democrat Party at that time.

So what did you learn? In the classic sense of liberalism, there are very few liberals left. Liberals used to populate the democrat party, but that changed radically over the last decade or so. Classic liberals, if there are any left, are in a diminishing minority.

An offshoot of a very harsh and hostile European political philosophy has hijacked the democratic party. It is an ideology based on the political theories of Marx, Engels, Hegel and Rousseau. The seeds of it were introduced into our American politics over 100 years ago. Guy named Wilson did it. It is called "Progressivism", which is really a joke because it is anything but progressive. In t***h, it is diametrically opposed to America's founding principles, it is anathema to free market capitalism--i.e., upward mobility, prosperity for all.

Progressivism is hostile to at least two of the monotheistic religions; Judaism gets a double whammy, cuz it includes the religio-r****t elements of anti-Semitism. And, in so many ways, it embodies all forms of r****m. Some of its representatives are very outspoken on this. In fact, there are a few who are advocating Islamic fundamentalism. Progressivism is decidedly intolerant of any other political philosophies and ideological systems, conservatism being the primary target.

Over the years, Progressivism has, quietly at first, infiltrated into our politics, into academia, entertainment, media--heavy in the media--and our culture. In the past decade or so, Progressivism has broken all restraints, and unleashed itself almost cataclysmically on the good old United States of America. It is not by any stretch a force of nature because there is nothing natural about it. Fundamentally, Progressivism is very destructive of the human spirit. There is, in fact, a "sameness" about it, a sort of mass hysteria, kinda reminds me of the Borg collective.

Anything else you want to know?
