I would venture to say that most Israeli Jews would have no problem claiming her. I've known a number of them, and they would be far more likely to claim ginnyt than you. Your idea of tolerance is thinking someone who agrees with you most of the time is almost as smart as you.

I have family in Israel. They already claim me. There are many Jews in Israel who think like me. They are called the Labor party. Their Hall of Fame includes the likes of David Ben-Gurion, Moshe Dayan, Golda Meir, and Yitzhak Rabin.

You might try googling "Haaretz". It is one of the biggest daily newspapers in Israel. It is the news outlet of choice for the more progressive Israelis. Should you insist on being a right wing know-nothing there is also a paper for you. Google: Arutz Sheva.

He is one of the most learned and common sensical economists, along with Walter Williams another black guy, on the planet. You progressives just can't believe that a member of a minority could have conservative or libertarian beliefs.

I do know history, but thank you for the recommendation. It was considerate of you. You are quite right, Jews were at the forefront of the civil rights movement. But, even you know that the Negro of today is so far removed from the decent men and women we stood with. Now Jews are consistently attacked by the children and grandchildren of those people. Our neighborhoods are being more compressed by those children and grandchildren. Those children and grandchildren rob us, murder us, and spit on us. It is true, I may be very wrong in my beliefs. I may be making God cringe and think of me as hopeless. All this may be true, but I do not think that he has given you permission to be my judge and I am certain that should I die today, I can stand before him and confess my misdoing knowing that he is the only one that matters. Not you. Even though you may think that you are the anointed one, the one who has the ear of God, or perhaps you think of yourself as the Messiah. I am accountable to God and he alone is my Judge.

Having said that, I do appreciate you having my soul and my acceptance among my people centralized in your consciousness and your desire to save me from my evil. I would ask you to remember me to God, but I am not certain that you still hold him as part of your belief system.

The author believes black belong on a liberal plantation and any straying away from it is heresy. No reasons are given. He assumes liberal policies are automatically beneficial to any people who suffered group oppression. He thinks blacks need his pity.

I have no idea of where you live. I live in N. California. My city is very integrated in terms of housing, schools, and public parks. I interact with black people every day. I never have problems. When I show respect. I get respect back. I also refer to people by the names that they prefer to call themselves.

I have never been harassed by "those" children and grandchildren. Black children approach my wife and I every day. They make threatening remarks such as, "Is it OK if I pet your dog?"
