maybe you should get a history book and study the past presidents if you do it with an open mind you might be suprised.

Does anybody really care what Big Mike, or anyone else for that matter, thinks about past presidents? Instead of constantly whining about former administrations, how about suggesting something to improve the current situation. I have yet to hear a single suggestion of who the GOP thinks has a chance to win the Whitehouse in 2016. Most people agree that raising the minimum wage will be good for America. How does bashing Mr. Obama for suggesting it help anyone?

Minimum Wage, agree or disagree, is never on a politician's radar until election time. It's sort of like most politicians' views on Veteran's affairs. We are off the radar until election day approaches, at which times these same politicians who wouldn't give us the time of day six months earlier stand in line to shake our hands and kiss our asses.

You're brand new here and so it's excusable. We all have to learn to maneuver through this sight. Welcome aboard also.

This is over simple but do you recall "Buy low sell high.

That is the game that is played in this country.

Create a economic bubble. Sell & when values of assets drop buy them back. Each time this happens more money ends up in fewer hands.

There is little left to be sucked up by the few. It is time to sell some assets to keep the game going.

Put more money in the hands of the masses & get them to pay a higher price for what they buy. Take out profits & when the few have enough profits pull the plug & lets values fall & start a new game.

Hello: I am new too. How do I respond to a certain poster. Whenever I post to "reply," it just goes to the bottom anyway so I am far from the person I was trying to respond to.

Thanks
Jim

Just click on "quote reply," instead of reply. Half the posters on here, myself included, made the same mistake at first.

The minimum wage fight started with fast food workers in New York. Until that started hitting national news I doubt anyone in Washington even had it on their radar. But it is something that needs to be done.

Yep. Their union boss got a call from Harry Reid, "Things look tough for 2014. Time to throw the minimum wage into the mix. Can you get your people to get the ball rolling? Right away? Thanks! See you in November!"

I don't think Republicans per say voted for it. I believe they thought at the time it was a good idea. In principal yes but Reality it's a horse of a different feather. The whole voting block needs to be reassessed.

Democrats did not win all of the votes(Although they should have.)
If you want to discuss stealing elections, or votes, look no further than your idol, g.w. bush, his brother, ol' jeb, brought out the hanging chads, ballots being found in garbage dumpsters, coat closets, and a lot of other places that they should not have been.
Guess what, every one of the ballots that were found, in all of those strange places were Democrat votes.
Kind of reminds me of s. walker in Wisconsin, seems like a regular thing with republicans.
Why should republicans show so much concern about voter ID's, republicans have proven themselves to be a bunch of lying, lazy as+h+++'+, but, have they gotten too lazy to carry the Democrat ballots to the closets, and dumpsters anymore, and decided to just block the Democrats votes?
Either way, people have lost their lives, been beaten, spit
on, and a lot of other shit they did not deserve, just for the right to vote.
republicans, or any other sick minded, sorry S.O.B. that does anything to take away, or even hinder a citizen from using that hard fought for, and undeniable right, should be shot for treason.

He is referencing the election that Democrats were up in arms due to Florida's Jeb Bush, hanging chads, the media's role in disinformation and the untruthful belief that Gore won the "popular " vote, and somehow was cheated out of winning the election. Now I would like for him to explain where in America people are beaten up spit upon etc.etc.?
I haven't heard of numerous of said occasions. Where how and when? And how was the reelection of w. Bush so corrupt?
