Democrats did not win all of the v**es(Although they should have.)
If you want to discuss stealing e******ns, or v**es, look no further than your idol, g.w. bush, his brother, ol' jeb, brought out the h*****g chads, b****ts being found in garbage dumpsters, coat closets, and a lot of other places that they should not have been.
Guess what, every one of the b****ts that were found, in all of those strange places were Democrat v**es.
Kind of reminds me of s. walker in Wisconsin, seems like a regular thing with republicans.
Why should republicans show so much concern about v**er ID's, republicans have proven themselves to be a bunch of lying, lazy as+h+++'+, but, have they gotten too lazy to carry the Democrat b****ts to the closets, and dumpsters anymore, and decided to just block the Democrats v**es?
Either way, people have lost their lives, been beaten, spit
on, and a lot of other s**t they did not deserve, just for the right to v**e.
republicans, or any other sick minded, sorry S.O.B. that does anything to take away, or even hinder a citizen from using that hard fought for, and undeniable right, should be shot for treason.

You are so full of it you are overflowing. Try leaving some of it the woods. The stench is noticeable throughout the country. Obama and the Democrats are masters at v**e f***d. Most of the Chicago cemetery's v**ed several times, even their pet dogs and cats v**ed at least once.

They have learned from history. Democrats never learn. They just keep on a truckin' hoping for a different outcome.

After years of neglecting to raise the minimum wage, and having the ability to do so at any time since Obama's e******n, why now? Could it be they saved it as an ace in the hole just in case thing went bad for them, and now that the ACA has gotten off to a less than auspicious beginning, the work force is dwindling, savings and buying power are being eaten away by the hidden tax of floods of fiat currency and college graduates are working part time for Burger King, maybe the Democrats are blatantly trying to BUY v**es?

Or is it just me?

The minimum wage fight started with fast food workers in New York. Until that started hitting national news I doubt anyone in Washington even had it on their radar. But it is something that needs to be done.

Minimum Wage, agree or disagree, is never on a politician's radar until e******n time. It's sort of like most politicians' views on Veteran's affairs. We are off the radar until e******n day approaches, at which times these same politicians who wouldn't give us the time of day six months earlier stand in line to shake our hands and kiss our asses.

If you looked into this, it must be true. Suspend all wage markers and let it find its natural level. Which is near or actual s***ery but, hey, you got a freakin job, why complain?

Of course, they're trying to buy v**es; but it's at the bottom of the page because they're hesitant to lose more than they buy, by making the job situation any worse than they already have.

That's the job of ACORN and La Raza, getting names to put on absentee b****ts. Taken in huge boxes at one time, the same handwriting? And the same courier. But NEVER say that is wrong, and strangely...all of the v**es are democrap? But "there is NO v**e f***d" after all... the media didn't report on it, therefore it doesn't exist! The liberals say: Prove it! MSNBC never said it, THAT IS PROOF IT DOESN"T EXIST ???????

 Of course folks care! If you don't examine the past you have no experience to draw upon! Is that what you mean by "whining"? If so, tough! Quit whining about our whining! Come up with you own positive suggestion if you're that grown up! If Mr Obama was not the continuation of a bad policy begun by Wilson, then bringing up Wilson's name would not matter. Nothing the President is doing is original, and he is not operating in a vacuum. There is a history to the Progressive movement that needs to be underscored before folks who care understand the scope of that movement's objectives. If we get a little off topic in the discussion, so what? It's not like it won't get brought up again.

So! To my initial question. Are the Democrats using the timing of the minimum wage proposal to buy v**es? Yes or no? If they waited this long to bring it up - until an e******n came along that potentially they could lose - do they really give a s**t about the working poor, or are they being manipulative? Tell me.

As for the benefits of raising the minimum wage, look what happens every time it's raised. Some folks who really need it enjoy a little more prosperity for a short time. Others who really need it have their hours cut or lose their jobs. Small business owners say f*** it, close their doors and go to work for someone else, prices go up, the value of the dollar goes down and the market find it's level again. The lucky folks who benefitted for a short time after the raising of the minimum wage - the ones who didn't lose their jobs or have their hours cut - find themselves, relatively speaking, no better off than they were before.

There are a few, though, who truly benefit from the raising of the minimum wage...the politicians who v**e for it! Want to really help the working poor? Encourage a policy that brings blue collar jobs back to America. That means getting rid of the Fed's ability to create money out of thin air because that's what is causing the exportation of jobs and devaluing the dollar.

It is strictly a political move to try and change the momentum of the e******ns. It looks as though the Senate will revert back to the Republicans and they will do anything to keep that from happening.
Raising of the minimum wage will cause the stupid people who don't understand that it will make no difference in the standard of living across the board and will in fact worsen the economy because many people will lose their jobs. The prices of goods will rise to compensate for the increased cost of the labor force. People who can not see this are really stupid, but that describes most of American workers.

Wow Sparky, talk about gullible. I feel for you. "The Democrats are all to blame....." , so you are just reflecting the same attitude you disparaged. When are you going to see that we should blame ourselves. A great man said " if you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you'll get selfish ignorant leaders". Truer words are rarely spoken. Both wings of the plutocrat-party are c*********d and morally bankrupt. Sure, there are some decent reps in these parties, but they have little power and hardly ever go out on a limb for anything. And the biggest form of socialism going on in this country is corporate socialism, right in front of our eyes, sponsored heartily by both "parties". The working people of this country have been sold down the river, time and time again for the last 40+ years, by "Rs" and "Ds" alike.

I agree with what you say, it is both parties that are selling us down the river and very "few good men" reside in Congress.
I don't know who "Sparky" is so I don't know what post you are referring too. Please use the "Quote Reply" button when addressing a particular poster or post. thanks

ALL politicians are actors  You do remember, don't you, that Reagan was also pres. of the Screen Actors Guild and Governor of a large western state? And Obama lives to make the fantasy world of 1984 a reality. Everything the man does pushes us in that direction faster than we were already going! That same world was described by a man named John a couple of thousand years ago. You should probably think about who's agenda you are supporting.

It finds it's level no matter what. Economics is mathematics, and mathematics follows mathematical laws as immutable as physics. I have a job because I got off my sorry ass, went out and got one...and paid hella dues doing so. And who's complaining? I merely asked a question. Why don't you answer it?
