Trump took over from a trend created by Obama. Small Businesses were growing for the last 5 years of Obama after he got them out of the Bush recession. What Trump supporters have no idea what the stimulus did but it gave $21 Billion for SBA7 (SMALL BUSINESS association) that allowed small business to borrow money with low interest and no fees. The SBA7 has been around for over 50 years and Trump cut the funding to that program.

Now tell me one thing that Trump has done to create Blacks in small businesses.

Then tell me one thing Trump has done for the middle class.

Airforceone: they cannot "truthfully" answer your questions because the truth isn't in them. Although history has recorded how Obama brought the country back from what was described as "nearly the greatest recession ever" - these Trumpers are hell bent on destroying 'anything Obama' and giving all credit to their fake president. What's amazing to me is, Trump has only helped the elite 1% get richer -which isn't any of the people who post here....yet they come here and praise him and deflect his errors as if Trump has personally paid all their bills and given them the keys to the city. Unfortunately, all that Trump has really done is to take the division that already existed and put it on worp speed. But, November is right around the corner.....and Mueller is almost done!

Not sure how Trump gets the credit for that considering how many times he has tried to 'destroy Amazon and Bezos' in the press.....but if you say so......

You are right. Obama's policies to make America GREEN mandated millions of dollars in "investments" in companies like Solyndra and green cars that did not sell well because they did not provide what most Americans needed in an automobile. Also demanding solar panels on peoples roofs even where there is no where enough direct sun to provide electricity.Obama knew that these mandates would not work but they provided what he wanted them to provide, more government control of everyone's lives, whether or not the people wanted to be serfs of the government.

He didn't try to destroy Amazon. LOL! His criticisms of Amazon are in no way related to the raises they gave to all of their employees.

All in all, it looks like more talk then walk..

will not move much additional pay to the workers..

https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/3/17934194/amazon-minimum-wage-raise-stock-options-bonus-warehouse

citing that on November 1st, many workers will have their paychecks cut, not raised.

Wish more people knew this or could get more attention on this. Have many family members who work at Amazon and they lost a lot yesterday. They were already @ $15 or above (most are at their facility), but lost all incentive and stock programs. They'll make $3-6k less per yr now.

Many Amazon warehouse workers are criticizing the pay raise as a publicity move as well as a political play, and it’s to be seen if getting rid of incentive pay is actually in the interest of workers. However, the company insists that the changes are for the benefit

So you accuse Trump of pandering to big corporations by giving them a tax break. Those corporations turn the tax breaks into growth for their companies, which means more jobs for the unemployed, and pay increases and bonuses for those who stayed loyal to their businesses while Obama taxed the $hit out of them.

Please enlighten us EmilyD: how many of those corporations actually gave meaningful raises to their employees...instead of putting the cash back into their profit margins? While you're at it, please explain how helping these corporations with such a huge break helps those who don't work for large corporations? Do you realize that with all the money these corporations make (billions) the tax break Trump gave them could have funded the Wall (<totally stupid idea) and Medicare for all? Finally, if Trump is such a great genius of a businessman, why do our farmers need $12 billion in welfare to stay afloat during Trump's tariff war with the rest of the world? $12 billion could fix a whole boatload of problems we already faced BEFORE Trump came with his tariff war. IMO he's not so smart afterall.....should have called his sleazy book: "The Fart of a Deal"

Only if the business has a degree of integrity..

In our case the trump cash went to 6% wage and reinvestment (new jobs) 94% to stock buy back and executive perks.. making themselves rich using what should have been tax revenue for the nation..

Dems: Let's have pizza.

Repubs: Great! We like pizza, what kind?

Dems: Pepperoni.

Repubs: We don't like pepperoni.

Dems: Tough shit! You lost the election! That's what you get, or starve!

This thread is about a false report of 400% growth in black business ownership in 12 months.. it is false, many man reports,

obama cut black unemployment for 16% to 8%..

trump is demanding credit while leaving crumbs..

Good crumbs, like 500 thousand of them in my portfolio since he's been President of the United States.
I'm supposed to hate that?
