The first thing most shady posters says is "don't shoot the messenger". I feel that if the messenger does not know for sure that what they're posting is the truth, and they're too lazy to research what they're posting, or what they're posting is an obvious lie, he/she deserves to be called on the carpet. Look at what the Republicans did to Susan Rice. Her testimony was more about the unknown than a lie, but they proceeded to destroy her reputation just the same. Talk about shooting the messenger!!!!!

Some sites are credible while others post opinions disguised as facts just to support their positions, and to get idiots to re-post those opinions as truths. This happens on both sides, and I don't trust either side to be remotely truthful.

Most websites that I refer to are .gov websites (BLS, IRS, FBI, White House, Census to name a few ), but I do use others to analyze raw data to derive conclusions. Like I said, my conclusions either get attacked with nothing to support the attack or are met with silence. Leads me to believe that I may be on to something.

I also use those sites and some others just to see if what i'm reading is somewhat truthful. One other site I go to is factcheck.org. I find that this non-governmental site to be quite non-partisan and they have an extensive database.

I did a piece on black slave traders. I got pilloried for being in the KKK, (I'm Not), plus all the usual "fools at Faux News, and you should have heard the crickets chirp when I posted the link to my main source for the article: MSNBC. Let's face it, you don't get any more left wing than that, unless you're maybe "Mother Jones."

So Mr 3jack, did you use factcheck.org to, as I said, “analyze raw data to derive conclusions”, to make the following non-partisan conclusions? Some comments attributed to you in the past week – Are you one of the attackers?

World War II was our last legitimate war. Interesting enough it was the last war that we won. It might have something to do with the fact that the AMERICAN PUBLIC ONLY WANTS TO PUT ITS FULL WEIGHT BEHIND WARS THAT ARE JUST!

We didn't elect President Obama to be a knee-jerk "cowboy" like the chickenhawk, George W. Bush. It's nice to not have a president reading "My Pet Goat" as a major crisis unfurls.

Nope, Pookie's busy giving blowjobs to old white guys in bath houses for cocaine as a major crisis unfurls.

The Ukraine has adopted anti gay laws that are in line with Russia and the USA had best take notes.
They don't want western porn or immoral behaviour or media being shoved in their faces. Same with Uganda and Ugandan people have said they will die starving rather then cave to the west.
Now the government of Uganda gets 20% of the money they need from us. So we quit giving 500 million and who does it hurt??
HIV patients mainly. Is that the way to let them know we don't approve?
We need to figure out how to deal with a very delicate situation. Especially since Uganda has kept the al shabat or African arm of al Qaida at bay and we need the help for security reasons.
Obama and this administration have moved our once strong allies on the fence and almost to a falling off point. I pray America chooses the correct way which encompasses our allies not alienate them in the process of democracy

To which rant are you referring? I have never used bjack as a username, and most of the names I have been called are far more uncomplimentary, if not creative.

Thats what I thought. Your being confused with someone else . Go back and look someone thought you were posting something you didn't because of bjack as the user name. I was defending you. Look back and you'll see whence I gathered my information from
