Hey I own one of those evil black rifles. I have TEN 30 round magazines, I hand load deadly bullets. And so far, my AR15 has never commanded me to kill anyone. My 30 round magazines have never twisted my arm and forced me to go on a rampage. The AR15 WAS NOT developed to "kill as many people as possible" and as a self defense weapon, under certain circumstances, the AR15 cannot be beat. Moreover, the AR15 is an excellent hunting firearm, it can take down game as large as a deer. What I'm trying to tell you is that the AR15, or any firearm for that matter, is not the CAUSE of anyone's death, it is the human being that pulls the trigger, it is the violent human being who is the terrible weapon.

You need to stop focusing on the effects and deal with the causes. Putting bandaids on headaches ain't gonna work, never has.

Here's a newsflash: the problem is not the gun, the problem is moral decay, cultural corruption, societal breakdown, educational failures, the destruction of the nuclear family. Gun control laws never have or ever will cure this sickness. When a mentally ill individual or a violent criminal needs a weapon, he will get one regardless of any laws on the books. If the sicko can't get a gun, he will get something else.

You can ask the people in the UK and Australia as to how well gun control works and they will tell you that they wished they had their guns back so that they could defend their families against the Muslims invading their countries. No getting rid of guns is not the solution because that would open us up to a government that would overthrow our government and destroy us.

The Supreme Court decision that the public has the right to keep and bear arms was not a universal blanket permission. Those with mental illnesses were specifically excluded from the group which can purchase and keep arms, legally. This shooter gave evidence of mental instability for many years before he acquired the weapon and used it to murder students. The system failed to identify him as a high risk individual who should have been banned from buying weapons. Contrast this with the ease with which the TSA can put people on the no-fly list which essentially destroys their lives thereafter.

It does not matter which weapon he used, there are many others which could do the same thing. Shooting unarmed people who are massed to exit what ostensibly was a burning building was diabolical and easy to do with any kind of gun. He could have used blunderbuses loaded with nuts and bolts to do the same thing.
