I've lost count of how many times someone has said that you can't prove God exists. Usually, the same person also says you're an i***t for believing in the great sky fairy.

Well. Let's turn the tables. You cannot prove that there is life on other planets, yet the same people who belittle Christians believe in little green men from outer space.

They claim that science is on their side, yet there is not one single scrap of evidence that life exists anywhere but on this third rock from the sun. But they have faith that life exist on other planets. Why does this sound familiar? Oh, yeah! It sounds a lot like a religion. Doesn't it?

Some of those feeble minded people believe fairies exist as well, but not God. (Don't stand to close to them)

Some of them believe that the universe doesn't exist. It's all an illusion. Some people will believe anything.

I spoke with someone who absolutely denies the existence of any sort of God, or Supreme Being or Intelligence, and that all there is happened by chance. When I asked this person where the material for the Big Bang came from, they replied;
"from a previous universe." But God is a fairy tale. I don't subscribe to the organized religion version myself, but looking at the math on the probability of All There Is just "happening," it's impossible. I personally think a human trying to describe God is like a colony of ants in the Amazonian rain forest trying to describe Quantum Physics.

Love your Amazon ant analogy!!!!!

While God or No God is always an interesting conversation (OK, ALMOST always!) I'm not certain what difference a definitive answer would make.
There will always be some who will want to use God to divide folks, and those who want to bring people together just because it is a good thing to do.
I'd rather align myself with the latter type, regardless of their position on God.

Perhaps it would be more accurate to portray them attempting to describe the nature of humans. Never having seen one, but only evidence of our passing.
Think of it; Buddhist and Baptist ants, Methodist and Muslim ants, Shinto and Scientology ants, all claiming we have declared the t***h of our nature to their sect alone.

Funny you should mention that! That issue is addressed by CS Lewis in a brilliant allegory called The Great Divorce. The book is short and deep as a canyon. Funny and poignant at the same time.

You don't know what to believe.

That's why you're q***r.

Why would normal decent folk want to be "brought together" with a bunch of sodomites.

You don't want to believe in God because you know that the God of the bible disapproves of the f*ggots life style.

Even a worldly sinner like me, is not such the fool as to deny God .

Don't be a godless punk ALL your life.

Repent And Acknowledge God.

There is a God for those that choose one... The universe is large enough... It would be a shame if it was just a big waste of space... I keep the faith that there is good in mankind... sometimes its just hard to prove... CK Lewis is also a funny guy

Do you know the definition of a Methodist Ant?
He's a Baptist Ant who wants to drink but can't afford to be an Episcopalian Ant.

Ya know why Baptists don't have sex in public?
They're afraid someone will think they're dancing.

You know what you call a Muslim with a sheep and a goat?
Bi-sexual bigamist.

Good for you. To know, unquestionably, there is no God one would have to know everything. To know everything, one would have to be God. Nevertheless, God IS the greatest reality.

Those same people can't prove God doesn't exist, either. Only an i***t-loser would make such a statement. BTW: I don't subscribe to ANY religion (religion is man-made), but I still believe in a greater God.
