Recently I sent a letter to my state attorney general stating that the law gives me the authority to make a citizens arrest on the governor for knowingly allowing i*****l a***ns to remain in this state. I cited the following to provide a basis for proving he was breaking the law. His, the AG’s, reply was two fold…first he stated that his office did not investigate crime. The function of his office was to provide legal counsel to any elected official dealing with a problem brought on by a citizen. Then they went on to state that any kind of restraint placed on an elected official would be a case of kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment. Thus all elected officials are bending the law to protect them from any repercussions on anything they may do. Especially the current sitting president whose protection is so high it is a crime even to say anything that could be taken as a threat.
Here is a brief summary of the law.
It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection in any place, including any building or means of t***sportation, any alien who is in the United States in violation of law.1 Harboring means any conduct that tends to substantially facilitate an alien to remain in the U.S. illegally.2 The sheltering need not be clandestine, and harboring covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as in a building. This provision includes harboring an alien who entered the U.S. legally, but has since lost his legal status.
