There should be cuts enough so that $2 trillion be taken out of the economy. Then maybe we would be able to somewhat balance the budget. What I can't understand is why you Democrats forever want to raise the budget when there is little hope that we will ever get the national debt paid now? Don't you realize there will eventually be a day of reckoning when the debts will all be called in? What happens then? We won't be able to just print more money because our money will be as worthless as was the money in Europe during the World Depression when it took a wheelbarrow of it to buy a loaf of bread. Even an i***t can understand that you cannot borrow yourself out of debt. And to spend money you don't have is a sure way to commit economic suicide.

This shutdown WAS planned, by the Koch Brothers, and the tea bag politicians that they paid to elect. It came to NOTHING, because democrats wisely reasoned that if it came to ANYTHING, if any reward was given for hostage taking, this would be the way government "worked" from now on. Lose an e******n? Lose the Senate? No matter-threaten to blow up the economy and you can get what you want anyways. Now, you are thinking a conspiracy?? That the white house, who is trying hard to improve this economy engineered this shutdown just because the white house and the democrats 'won"? You can print signs in a mater of minutes and that is what the museum staff was doing on Tuesday morning. This is not a conspiracy.

Some things are just too nutty to be believed. This was the Republicans doing, they thought Obama would cave. He had given into their demands in 2011, in a spirit of bipartisanship, that the tea bag party saw as weakness.
