Sunrise
If you watch the sun come up you will see an interesting phenomenon. Before the sun reaches the horizon the sky is bright enough that you can count the blades of grass and the leaves on a tree. When before everything was only a shade of gray. In similar fashion before Christ returns, His word will be clearly taught, and His coming announced. Read Malachi 3:1 – 5. This could have not meant John the Baptist because verse 3 hasn’t been fulfilled. My best may not be very good but I am doing the best I can to be as accurate as possible. I have been reading the bible and trying to see how it worked for about 44 of the 50 years I have been alive. Life is not a sprint, it is a marathon. I believe that when satan comes and people think he is Christ he will so desensitize our conscience that we will think we are saved even though we will have become so nasty that we won’t even bury the dead. They will just rot on the ground.
Jesus says in Matthew 24:14 that THIS gospel will be preached (not accepted) around the world and then the end shall come. What churches are teaching today is not the bible. How do we expect God to be pleased with us while over 53 million infants have been murdered? Do you think God is pleased with the state by state legalization of drugs and gay marriage?
Shepherd’s Chapel taught the bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse across this planet. Now Arnold Murray is dead but on one thing we can rely. We serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God’s promises go from generation to generation.
I believe the seals, trumpets, and vials describe the same events from different perspectives. I believe that we are in the midst of the fifth trumpet and we still have time. There will be no rapture. God doesn’t save His children FROM tribulation but THROUGH tribulation. However it would be a mistake to say because we have time we can sin some more. Sin has negative consequences and instead of death coming for all it may just come for you. Lifting scriptures out of context is not the gospel Jesus taught. Jesus will have nothing to do with you if you not only ignore every sermon He preached, parable He taught, and miracle He performed but the wisdom, history, and prophets of the Old Testament.

I agree with you, in a way, on the Tribulation: there will be no Rapture. Christ has saved us, we hide in him. No need to be saved "THROUGH tribulation."

Fred many of us Christians believe in a rapture, some pre-trib, some mid, and a few in a post trib. We don't believe that Eve had sex with satan and that he is the father of Cain and Adam is the father of Able. We don't believe that Cain produced the kernites and they are all evil. We don't believe that everyone existed in a time before this time nor can we save our lost loved ones in the millennium by teaching them. Nor, that along with Noah and his family, there was a couple of every race in the world. This is but a few of our differences. I accept your beliefs!!! You are going to have to realize and accept ours and stop trying to teach your religion to everyone. We really should respect each other's beliefs. And that is just my opinion, respectfully.

I think you are deceived. I don't care how you feel. I am an ex army sergeant. If my sergeants cared about my feelings, it would have gotten me killed. You are nuts if you think I care.

None of that makes you right and every body else wrong! What does your military have to do with this. My father, husband and son is ex military. I could care less about your feelings, however I do care about trying to live up to being a Christian. You most definitely sound just like Mr. Murray. He was condescending, judgemental and intimidating. You don't want to discuss the bible, you want everyone to agree with you. Everybody meaning two of us! Your audience has dwindled. I guess so much for adult conversations!😁

I expect you to disagree. The hardest person to teach is one that thinks they know already.

Words are cheap! Do you have any original cute little quotes of your own? Prove me wrong by using scripture, not insults. Anyone can play that silly game.

You should look in the mirror when you say that.

My knowledge of scripture is from experience. Reality will beat hearsay and expectation.

I have two questions for you"

1) Are you saved and if you are, how did you become saved?
2) Can you acknowledge the Jesus Christ came to the earth in the flesh?

Because I study the bible verse by verse - chapter by chapter with the help of the Holy Spirit to guide me in my understanding. You will notice in the verses before 24:22 that they are talking about "tribulations" of the disciples as they teach in the different cities.

Knowledge of scripture does not come from experience. It comes from understanding what one reads and interpreting correctly.
