The beauty Richard is that He created us and has a plan. Yes, His ways are higher than our ways and we must trust Him. He loves us and wants good for us. We can only think from a mere human perspective. We are limited. God is not limited. We must come to a point to where we trust Him because He knows every intricate detail of life and our future. It is simple really. Let go and let Him lead you, teach you and love you as He intends. It is a good thing Rich. A good thing. There is no telling what we can experience in the future under God's ;love and authority. I do not want to miss that. I want to grow, learn and experience all He has in store for us. This life is short. Eternal life is forever. Come on and enjoy eternal life with us and Almighty God my friend. Everything you have learned and think you know comes from Him. There is much much more to learn and experience. He loves you man. You don't deserve it. None of us do but He loves us so much He is extending this opportunity to us. Let go and let God, my friend. Of course He is Richard. I do not always agree with God or understand His ways . I never understood animal sacrifices, because I love animals. He is the creator. We must surrender to Him. I believe He will eventually explain many things to us that we are not capable of understanding. Not that He has to. He is God. We are just His creation. he does not owe us anything. He has already given us life, food, water, clothing, housing, women, talents, sk**ls, jobs, money, hearts, souls and the list goes on. It is all about recognizing Him as God and trusting Him. Period. It is simple but in our evil we want to make it complex. It is not.

Refus has stated that God is all good and that He is all powerful. If He is all powerful, then He can accomplish anything He wants in any way He wishes to. This leaves us with the interesting philosophical question of why there is pain and suffering in the world. If God were all powerful, He would be able to accomplish wh**ever He wants to without causing the pain and suffering one sees in the world. Do we have a God who wishes to inflict pain and suffering on people when he does not have to in order to achieve His ends ? If we do, then God cannot be all good.

The usual Christian dodge to this is that "God's ways are incomprehensible to man." That is a non-answer, no matter how believers try to weasel out of it.

I try to look at this from a perspective that's fair to Rufus's point of view, Is it fair to expect control over things like pain and suffering from a guy who doesn't exist?
