Islam, yes. Radical Islam we are seeing these days, no. Surely you can see them trying to form up their Caliph**e. Since you no doubt looked, how many of those did he not say?

Oldroy, was unable to find either way, and I am not a fool about the nature of Islam. I heard some popular defector imam talk about Islamic beliefs: scary is the word. According to him, the later writings of Mohammed are to take priority, and in those is where k**l the infidels and jihad is mentioned. Lying, he said, is perfectly acceptable, even honorable, if it advances Islam. But I do not know enough about that faith to trust what he said.

I think you can trust what he said. I have known for sometime that the last part of the Koran is what they are going by but many who want to not work on them always take what he said in the early part of the book as being peaceful. He wrote that first part in his early days when he hadn't conquered Mecca and Medina, yet and changed his tone after that had taken place. Yep, the Muslim Brotherhood has taken everything they want done from the last part of the book. It is certainly scary if you bother to read only the last third or so before you read any of the rest of it. I did it that way and never really read any of the early part because of that.

I caught someplace today that the Brotherhood stands for one thing and one only and that would be the worldwide Caliph**e. I guess more and more people will learn that Beck wasn't lying years ago. It is there and the fact that Obama has put in so many Brotherhood members of high rank into the White House scares me. They are not dummies and have been practicing a long time.

How old were you in 2009 when Obama got that Nobel before he did a damned thing? Were you still in high school or did you not know when it happened and how? How broad is the perspective of Peter King? Broad enough for you?

Peter King is one of the Republicans that has been trying to work it out, but the Tea Party just wants to shut down the government and do all they can against Obama.

I was at the first Tea Party meeting in my area. It started out with some worthy ideas and ideals, but it has gone off the rails. BTW I am old enough for medicare.

O'bama said Islam is part of the American story. Well I love American History and would someone out there name one person that came over on the Mayflower or signed the Declaration Of Independence. I must have fell asleep in class.

Really? What has Islam contributed a "great deal" of to anything, "including my own country?"

#3 “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

You may have fallen asleep; however, my progeny did not. There was no reference as to Islam or any part they played in our founding history.

Here is a link that will answer the question about Islamic contributions to the world. Again, a disclaimer: supplying this link is not an endorsement of Islam but just history.

There is little doubt in older times there were contributions. Not as an assailment on you, those times are long past.

Are you on Medicare or just old enough for it, old man? I was given no choice when I hit 65 and told to go to them by the insurance company.

If your one person refers to one Muslim I will have to say that you didn't miss out on any part of those who came in. They were surely not Muslims.

Is there a chance that Obama has already rewritten our history as a progressive and we don't know about it?

I am on Medicare Part A because it it Automatic when you reach 65. I don't use it because I don't do doctors, and I didn't sign up for Part B, which would cost about $100 per month. Forget Part D, I don't want their drugs.

Point taken on Medieval Europe, founding of America as Little POS Barry said, not so much.
