Can anyone here prove to me that Obama did not say the things quoted here? If so please do because I failed to see one thing that I hadn't read or heard from him at one time or another.

I say that these statements prove him to be, just maybe, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Sounds like you have a problem with freedom of religion.

Freedom of religion? Sounds like you have a problem about what Obama believes in his religion. Are you one of those Muslims he is always bragging about. You know building our tallest buildings and then failing to add that every one of those 19 was a Muslim. I guess building sounds better than tearing down, huh.

Religions are man made. I prefer a relationship with the creator. I don't care what your religions is, you character is more important.

Do you think the American people would have elected a muslim so soon after 9/11? He claimed to be a Christian. I guess that was just to get the v**es.

Aha, you think that my character is something to be used to tell others that Obama and Islam just aren't really friendly. If that is not it then you may need to explain yourself a bit more to me.

Is there a real difference in freedom of religion and freedom from religion? What does freedom from mean, to you?

Islam is a phony religion, it's a death cult that justifies murder and p********a. It's a cult of worldwide conquest by violence. We've been at war with Islamic Jihadi's on and off since the Barbary Wars. How are Christians being treated in predominately Muslim countries? Try building a Christian church in Mecca.

How esoteric. From where would you recommend "character" be learned?

I have been a student of spiritual laws and principles for decades. As such I see religion as an attempt to understand the spiritual world with material thinking. It usually doesn't work very well whether you are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or any other religion.

There is a joke that says there are hundreds of religions in the world and they all have one thing in common. It's not a belief in a supreme being, it is the belief that their religion is right and the rest are wrong.

There is some good and some bad in all of them. The trick is to see the good and not get sucked into the bad.

Now that you have explained yourself to me is there a chance that you could allow this thing to get back on the original topic which had something to do with things Obama has said about both beliefs. Let me make it simple for you by asking you how many of those things he didn't say at one time or another? Yes, you have done a good job of deflection up to now and it is time to discuss the subject I wanted to discuss. You are welcome to start a thread of your own to discuss what you worry about.

First, I am not worried. Worry is a sin.

The fact that Obama has said many things about both religions tells me that his is much more open minded and tolerant than whoever took the time to post all those quotes. Perhaps that is why he has been able to find diplomatic solutions and avoid wars, and why he got the Nobel Peace prize.

Too bad there aren't enough people in Congress with such a broad perspective. If there were they would be able to work together to resolve their differences instead of looking for sound bytes to criticize the other side with.

Character comes from listening to the voice of conscience and doing what you know is right for no other reason than it is right. Does it come from love or h**e? You know which is right and which is wrong.

Most of the quotes are hardly "mind-blowing" and as far as their veracity, my search could not verify one way or another. Islam has contributed a great deal to the world; that is a simple fact of history and not an endorsement of Islam.

How old were you in 2009 when Obama got that Nobel before he did a damned thing? Were you still in high school or did you not know when it happened and how? How broad is the perspective of Peter King? Broad enough for you?
