The people need to be thinkers, less critics NOW.

You may want to familiarize yourself with the Paul Ryan budget proposals - just don't use main stream media as the source of your information - and you'll see a good start on dealing with our fiscal problems.

Maybe it doesn't need funds as previously stated. Maybe that is just a convenient lie now, "that it will cost millions".

Maybe that is why the Republicans couldn't (really) defund it. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

If it didn't need funds why would the Democrats and Obama insist it be funded even at the risk of government shutdown?

I only work part time but I get paid for what I bill.
If I want more I can always charge more or work more.

I have rental property & if my tenants where paid better. I would be able to charge more. I I would be able to charge more.

So I say I would rather see people like them have a bit more
Than some rich banker who is getting rich off of people like my tenants.

Paul Ryan just hopes that big money will take care of him. He will kiss back side & say what ever they want.

Which is exactly why raising the minimum wage doesn't help those who are incapable of earning more. Every time the minimum wage is increased, their landlords raise the rent.

I thought NO. We have spent multitudes on it's creation. How many government hours have been wasted? Also, what else will they connive to debate about if we give up on Obama care? That word isn't even spelled right. Obamacare!

Lets trim it and move on, we can fix it later. It is just a distraction rather than making our government account for the real issues we need to address. Like, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We, as a nation need to readdress it and force our government to give us all the up to date details about where we stand with it and what our choices are. We can't stand our ground if we are ill-informed.

How do propose we "force our government to give us all the up to date details about where we stand.." when they bloody well have no idea? They cannot give you something they do not know themselves.

Rents don't get raised when people move out because they can't pay the rent. or they are asked to leave.
Apartments stand empty when rents become too high.
They become to high when people seeking housing lack money. Some end up on the street.

But raising the minimum wage will at least help a bit & stop them from falling farther behind.

That would help me keep my units full & possibly raise the rents to help me pay my bills.

Any place where these people spend money would be helped because they would have more to spend.

Not seeing that there is money at the bottom means the system falls apart from the bottom.

This also means other places poor people spend money will be better off.

This better off works it way up the food chain & every one is better off.

It is my hope that some people begin to see what is really happening down on the street. Those that live in Ivory Towers.

All it takes is for people to say I have enough.

What is left is to find out what really is enough.

It is just that for some enough is never enough.

Please tell me how did I or do I lie.

Is charging more just a liberal thing.

The cost of every thing is going up & most places I go to raise prices.

I would raise rent to a least keep up with inflation.

Other than raising the rent for new tenants I haven' raised rents on older tenants for quite a while.

The answer to when is enough enough is what is each of us should ask our self.

More so those of us that have the most.

Many look down at the poor as wanting too much & who have so little is bad.

Why is it that so much in hands of those with the most & who keep wanting more is looked at a good thing.

If there is taking & to who is the biggest takers are wouldn't one take in to account where the wealth is ?

Would it be so hard to see that a little money was left on the table instead of sucking more & more in to fewer pockets.

May be paying working people a little more for their efforts.

How much more do you want working people to be paid, and who do you want to pay it? Do you think maybe workers should concentrate on increasing the value of what they do and government programs should be there to aid and encourage that?

If your tenants are too poor to pay market priced rents (which your post suggests) how is it they have enough to make bankers rich? I'm guessing you have a real handle on economics.

So, I see you are very familiar with Paul Ryan. Share with us what about his budget proposals you think helps "big money" - and, while you're at it, tell us how you'd propose to reduce our federal deficits and debt.

You comments raise a suspicion - you aren't one of those slum lords, are you?

If minimum wages are raised, where do you suggest the people employing these folks get the money from?
