Most people's bug investment is their 401'sand 401's are taxed when you use the money. Stocks and bonds are taxed as you go along including anything you make on that money. You take the risk and the government taxes it. Now if you lose, you lose not the government.

you are inconsistent you throw in the s/s recipients that have already paid tax on what they receive but when it comes to Romney who has already paid tax on his investments you want him to pay again when he spends the interest form those investments

Yes my correction, with the support and backing of Art Pope in the media he did win and than went on to put Mr Art Pope in his administration as NC budget director. GRRRRRRRReat! Now they're in there manipulating everything for the self interest of Pope and Citizens United to control America; because we(NC) are the model on how they will Gerrymander other states the next e******n to manipulate to win and become a one party f*****t country.
"The Republicans also picked up at least three House seats in North Carolina, thanks to redistricting that altered constituencies so significantly that some incumbents simply walked away and others were all but forced to disavow the Democratic Party to have any hope of h*****g on to their seats.
Following the 2012 e******ns, North Carolina saw its first Republican-led one party government since Reconstruction. Thanks to their control over the redistricting process, Republicans were able to gerrymander the state legislature so effectively that they now have veto proof majorities in both chambers, not that newly elected governor Pat McCrory would veto their agenda. Despite electing McCrory, North Carolina didn't see some massive Republican landslide statewide, but rather gerrymandering, or the drawing of political districts to strongly favor a particular party, enabled them to win sizable majorities."dailykos.com

Just for the record let's break down that asinine 47 % comment from the corporate raider / candidate Romney . 50 % of them are drawing S.S. , which has been taxed in the year it was earned . Another 25 % use the tax codes to avoid paying anything . ( Romney paid NO income tax in 2008 & 2009 ) . That leaves about 25 % which includes students with summer jobs and low income earners ( like Wal Mart employees who we subsidize directly with SNAP and other programs already ) Why in the world should we subsidize Wal Mart's labor costs ?
Next class we will cover corporate welfare ( about 10 times the actual amount as the " welfare " you spoke of ) and tax loopholes ( 2.8 trillion a year ) .
Just for the record let's break down that asinine ... (show quote)

I can see why you call yourself confused. Where did you learn Romney paid no income tax in '08 and '09?

100 % minus the 80 % leaves 20 % profit . It is not figured on a case by case basis . The insurance companies actually wanted to add salary bonuses to the " cost of care " . B S .

Perhaps if you'd learn the meaning of overhead costs you'd be less confused.

America has plenty of one party cities and states. The last GOP Governor in Chicago was 1933, Detroit 1963, New Orleans 1898. Yes 1898

Democrats don't do things for their own self interest ? Are you kidding?

Damned article didn't explain what and how exchange works but then I keep asking Dems here and never get an answer. Is there a possibility that they don't know the answer about a word they made up to fool people with? I have been hearing about the Kansas exchange but have never seen that our governor has signed up for same. I always heard that people here would have to go on the national exchange, wh**ever that is.

Boy am I glad I am on Medicare and my wife will be there in less than a year. According to the article we don't need to worry at all. Of course, I saw nothing there about what happens to Medicare with the $50 billion or so that will be taken from Medicare. Yep, that is a totally unbiased article.

How does gerrymandering work in e******ns of governors? I always thought that all the people in the state v**ed for that office and not by Congressional districts, either.

I think you have been had by someone especially with those numbers for governor. You do understand gerrymandering and how it works, don't you?

No actually the company could be losing money overall and still have to return money to an individual if less than 80% was used for their healthcare. Lets take 10 people

1-5 have no claims but paid in $5000 each or $25,000 Company has to return 80% to them or $4000 each
6-10 are cancer patients who had $225,000 in claims

Did the company make a profit?

That's not how it works. The rule states that the insurance company must spend 80% of the total premiums on healthcare. First, that does not mean the other 20% is profit. These liberals must think people that work for insurance companies don't get paid. That 20% is used for the administrative costs the insurance company incurs plus any profit.

It is also not on an individual basis. 80% of the total premiums must be used, in total, on healthcare. If they spend less than that, then the difference is refunded to all the insured.

On large group plans, the percentage that must be spent on healthcare jumps to 85%.

Can I be 100% sure he paid all taxes, no I can't but I saw no fines for tax evasion. Now on the other hand we all saw tax evasion by Timothy.

Falsely accuse one and appoint another, it that the democratic way?

Harry Reid was getting his info from the NSA. He committed a felony. Remember how he threw it out there a couple of time and then completely shut his mouth. His legal team must have wet their pants.
