I would suggest the common goal be a better society or country, but that would only lead to an argument over who decided what that "constituted". :?: Never-ending battle.

When this country started, the common goal was Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness. What was wrong with that? Now it has been warped so badly by a certain kind of thinking, that getting back to it will take a concentrated and determined effort. Can we, and are we, willing to go for it?? Think about it.

Precisely, no agenda, no politics, no r****m, absolutely no conflict whatsoever. We are all humans, we all basically want the same thing do we not? To live a safe, productive life, help others to do the same, and be happy. What exactly is it that is preventing that?

In one tiny word ...ego, ego with money is ego squared to the ? power which is what it ends up to be about, power. Once you have so much money what else is there to pursue? The people in power help manipulate and antagonize people against other. This part was a tactic from Hitler, he collected people together to h**e an entire race by blaming them for the economic hardships the people were experiencing at that time. We are seeing it again today.Especially when I read on these posts how people h**e entire party's. They've combined parties together,like liberals, c*******ts,democrats,into one group. These use to be separate parties. It is simpler for them to have just two parties,because it is so easy to pin us against each other in this way.It also takes our eye off the real ball.

Unfortunately, the very human tendencies towards power and control. Agendas are almost always driven by one or the other, or both.
