Amazing! :!: Who would have thought anyone in NYC had this many brains? If Christians can be discriminated against in the military as well as classified in government documents as potential terrorists why should Muslims be an exception. Yeah,yeah, yeah...I know. You cannot say they are all jihadists. You cannot say all Christians are right wing nut jobs because of Westboro Church, but people do.

Sure, now its the Muslim, but in earlier days it was the Jew, Catholic, Italian, and any number of other "strangers" that were on The List. As long as any American citizen is singled out for such treatment, none of us are safe, and if we say nothing, no one will be there to speak for us.

VERY few are speaking for anyone except Muslims. Further, your perception is they are "American" citizens. What is the percentage who are not?

Stop knocking New Yorkers auntie , they bore the brunt of jihadi attacks in this country . There are 8 million people in NYC. There are some dummies in every city and town in the USA . My wife's other cousin a building engineer, was nearly k**led in the first WTC attack in '93 , and we lost 2 dear friends on 9/11 plus others we both knew as kids .
My wife'scousin whom I grew up with , an FDNY Captain ,from Rockaway. spent the next two years collecting DNA fragments and attending funerals , is now seriously ill from it .
Not to mention , when it comes to protecting NYC, NYPD has a more sophisticated and effective Anti-Terror Intelligence Unit than the FBI and CIA .

p.s. NYPD Intelligence has been doing surveillance on mosques , even those in New Jersey for several years now .

I am going to take a stab in the dark and say that the percentage of Muslims who are citizens is significantly lower than the percentage of Christians who are citizens. And then we can go one step further and ask how many Christians have hijacked planes and flown them into the world trade centers, the pentagon, and had they not been stopped the white house also. All this k*****g over 3,000 american citizens and we can't be somewhat suspicious.

Mormonism, Christian Scientology, Jehovah Witnesses, Freemasonry, and Roman Catholicism have not worked to k**l or ens***e everyone would not bow to their beluefs.

I think they should be free to believe what they want as long as they don't try to force their beliefs on everyone else.
