Hey guys I wanted to respond to your left leaning reply's but I just got another Estate Auction notice that I might need to look over; Yep they say caused by Obama policies, well hell almost a daily occurrence!
Don't worry it wasn't Oldschool or lou's home just another southern hard working family dumped on their ass!
I sure will be glad when Obama's stimulus package kicks in and stops this senseless foreclosure s**t!
Oh hell never mind these were white folks, it wasn't going to help them anyway!

A perfect example of the tea party willingness to bring down the country and economy if their specific policies are not adapted is already self evident , by a failure to reach any consensus or compromise to the point of the present Sequestration , the downgrading of the US credit rating , and the threat of blocking any future budget resolution .
You deny facts deny science and Technology, in this discussion in favor of your highly partisan [and childish ] politics . Scientific American , the Upper Colorado River Authority are NON-PARTISAN .They are simoply stating the present hydrological and geological reality that presently exists in that region . I was not going to respond to you anymore, but I can't let some of your bogus statements go without a rebuttal. After this response you won't hear from me much anymore because you are only interested in an echo of your own opinion, you do not respect anyone else's. You apparently do not know anything about the Tea Party when you make statements that it is the Tea Party that is bringing down the economy. You must be clueless about economics too because no Tea Party bill, or policy, has been adopted, or passed that has brought down the economy. It is Obama and his fellow democrats who have brought down this economy, they own it. Then, you blame the Tea Party for servitude to big oil, and tax cuts for the rich on the backs of the middle class - another bogus left-wing assertion. Under Obama, the income of the top 7% of earners has risen 28%, and the income of the lower 93% of earners has decreased by 4%. The rich have been getting richer (which I have no problem with), and the middle/poor class are getting poorer under Obama. Just for your info, the rich people do all the hiring, not the middle class. Obama's policies and inflation are k*****g the middle class and poor. The poor now comprise 16% of the population, the highest since LBJ back in 1965. Many of the rich have gotten richer due to the Fed propping up the stock market, which by the way is heading for a huge correction.

My MORALs over everyone else? At least I have some morals, the Democrat Party sure doesn't have any!

The sequestration for your info was Obama's idea. He proposed that idea when they c*********d on the debt ceiling back in December/January. He made it political and tried to turn the tables use it to damage the Republican Party when it came time to put up or shut up. Secondly, there was NO CUT! It was a reduction in the increase in spending, which the democrats always llike to label as a cut. Look up base line budgeting. And, we're only talking about $35b, a mere drop in the bucket when it comes to a $3.5T budget. It was a joke, and all political posturing by the Democrats.

As to water usage by fracking, reduce lawn watering and you will save about 10 times the amount of water that used for fracking.

Of course the expletives had to come out towards the end as that is the only way liberals can express themselves. And, you talk about morals. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house, pal.

Your asses all belong to your handlers , those who pay big money to buy you out . All ya gotta do is put your brains up on the shelf .

I have to laugh because all I here from you dolts is ,all this B.S. of how you're for free enterprise , capitalism ,and the American Entrepreneur , and as soon as someone comes up with a workable innovation , you trash him , you trash the technology ,and any one who approves it .

You are hypocrites , and I'd be willing to bet , had Romney won the e******n , you'd be all over this like flys on s**t .

Lou please show me just one post I made putting down this electric car!
I did say that replacing the batteries would be prohibitively expensive, which is fact!
I did say that any real revolutionary new battery design would probably be bought and buried by big oil! probably another fact!
Where did I put the technology down? I didn't!
Two of my sisters drive Toyota Prius's and average 50 MPG, I think they are great cars, I'm all about technology. I even love my fast computer and even faster Charter internet service.
I do not however agree that an electric car is in my future, maybe my children but most likely my grandchildren. Like it or not we are and will continue to be reliant on petroleum for our main source of energy for the foreseeable future.
This is where our disagreement with you came about,(fracking) , or have you forgotten.
There is room for advancements in solar energy, but I think it should be left for industry to work out the bugs and make it workable and stop these ridiculous subsidies that Obama is wasting our tax dollars on. They are simply using this crap to channel billions of our tax dollars into the pockets of their friends in low places.
You even stated that the TEA party was responsible for the sequester, well who gives a s**t, someone has to stop the liberal dumb asses from spending us into oblivion!
What if there isn't enough money to fund all the programs that keep b****s v****g for liberals, what if there isn't enough money to let school children tour the white house, which is a joke by the way!
It hasn't stopped Obama from spending hundreds of millions of dollars on vacations, and just wasting untold tax dollars on stupid s**t! Every one can see through what he is doing, it's nothing short of criminal!
So we do disagree with you but at least be honest when you imply that we are against the technology!

I think old Lou is getting paranoid. I too never said anything bad about electric cars or the technology. I merely pointed out that the battery is still drawback to the cost, weight, etc to the electric car, and I am sure it will eventually be solved with NEW TECHNOLOGY (you get that Lou?). I also simply pointed out the hypocrisy of the left whereby to rec**p the gas tax money that a electric car owner doesn't pay they want to go to a "miles driven" tax model - there goes one savings of owning a electric car. The other drawback being the "battery charging" that will put more load on our antiquated electric power grid system.

As for solar, I'm all for it. I merely pointed out the cost of solar and wind power. I have some experience in this field because I happen to live off-grid and solar power (with a back-up 14kw LP gas generator) is my electrical power source. And, from experience it is very expensive. My modest 15-panel 4kw solar system ran $55k (includes the generator). To add a 3.5kw wind generator would run another $28k, which I may add in the future. Taking an average $180 per month power bill, which I used to have, it will take 25 years to rec**p my costs - and at my age, I'll be lucky to live half that long. G***n e****y is currently viable, but it is expensive, and it will be interesting in 5, 10, or 20 years from now when all the drawbacks and ill effects of solar and wind power start popping out in various studies and reports.

As for oil, Lou needs to look around his house, car, etc and determine the hundreds of items that are manufactured from oil - plastics being just one. And, fracking helps in obtaining that oil.

I saw an interesting youtube video awhile ago of a Japanese engineer who invented a machine (and process) to convert any plastic back into oil. He goes around the world, primarily 3rd world countries, demonstrating the technology. Kids will collect plastic from trash cans and city dumps, and he converts it back to oil for them. Pretty interesting stuff.

Glen , try your B.S. out on someone dumb enough to believe it .

You're an asshole , for thinking you can b.s. your way through a discussion in which YOU jumped in with an obvious bias .
In actuality , neither Obama nor Romney had anything to do with my statements .
That's when the teabaggers jumped in with the whole idea that electric cars are " an idea of the left " . You follow the lead of half-a-brain old roy . Anything having to do with renewable energy , you associate with Obama /the Left / Liberals etc.

And like I said , had Romney been elected you'd be singing a different tune .
Who are you trying to kid Glen ?

You behave and react like the good little Pavlovian dog you've been trained to be .

Glen, what a miserable life old Lou must live. Like most ignorant liberals the only way he can support his narrow minded opinion/argument is to resort to name calling and spewing the swear words. Liberals are naturally miserable people anyway and they're not happy unless they can make everyone else around them miserable too. What a sad life.
