There was no need.

.rue. I have considered getting rid of mine here. Maybe lock one in the closet and pull it out for emergencies. That is probably not even necessary. We can probably get emergency info through the radio or phone. Enjoying reading the posts between you and Oliver but it is close to my afternoon nap. God bless.

It just cracks me up. But that's not as much fun as evangelizing in exotic places around the world bringing the good news

What good news?
Did I miss a recent announcement?

When I was young I wanted to minister at the Bunny Ranch or the Playboy mansion.

 Agreed. I have personally been looking for several years into moving simply for peace of mind and quality of life. I lived in Belize in my mid twenties for 6 months. I love Costa Rica and could live there tonight if I could pull it off. I have looked at other places in Central and South America that appeal to me. I love the laid back life in these countries and the respect for God and morality. I love the worship services i have attended and the love for God so many have who don't have much material wealth. There is also still plenty of room for ministry work in these places. I do fear it will continue to get worse in America and worldwide. But my decisions to this point have not been made from fear of persecution but a desire to lead a better quality of life around a better quality of people without the day to day stress we have here. I did not even watch television when in Belize but had a sense of freedom that is quickly vanishing from America. I don't know how much you have traveled but when I visit many of these countries or throughout the Caribbean I sense that freedom. However if the Lord wants me to go to Israel and pick up a weapon and k**l muslims I will go.

You are wise my expatriate, wise indeed.
Savor the country where you live.
Your well planned choices give you more freedom Than most.
Revel in your home.
I am pleased to hear you are doing so well

I have a TV, use Charter. I should get rid of it since I have turned it on for about 10 minutes a few weeks ago. I have to keep it because it's a pkg.

This thread reminds me of these verses from Revelation, and they are happening now, not here - yet:

Revelation 6:9-11New International Version (NIV)

9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[a] were k**led just as they had been.

 I am familiar with these verses. I mostly study using the NIV too. " How long "? It seems it won't be long now.

Is it 10 year old Charter Beark ? I used to use Charter 10. Actually when I was 18 I worked downtown as a night shipper. I made runs to the Post Office. While out I would pick up a fifth of Jack Daniels one night and Charter 10 the next and alternated each night. I would wait until 11:00 of course to pour a drink when I got off. Of course drinking and driving was not really considered illegal then unless you were an i***t. There just wasn't much traffic on the road and people rarely had accidents of any note. Your use of Charter 10 may be causing your stomach problems. Try Jack Daniels and don't mix with coke. The coca cola is what makes you sick. If you have to mix it add a little water.

Rufus, you are going to laugh when I tell you this - I read your first sentence fast, then I had to re-read it because the first time through, it read (to me) "Actually when I was 18 I worked downtown as a night stripper."

Then I almost forgot your question - It's not Charter 10, it's just charter net here.

Now you've got me laughing. As much as I h**e to admit it I have never had a body that would be good for stripping. I knew you were talking about your service but couldn't resist. You seem to be feeling better. Are you ?

He said he was a 'night shipper,' I read it as a 'night stripper.'

We were off subject matter, and just conversing.

I believe the "full number" to be k**led will include many, many Christians who now live in the "safety" and "security" of our own U.S. of A and who have not yet been, but may shortly be, confronted with the choice of either standing firm or compromising on God's eternal word. If one cannot stand uncompromisingly upon God's word in the relative safety of OPP postings, one will never be able to when facing down a barrel pointed directly at one.

"As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord," so said Joshua; so say I.

I believe you are right, Oliver. There will be blood in the street, freedom will be no more. Too bad, I hope many will be prepared. It is coming.
