I mean...you can't possibly believe that the Antebellum South was a bastion of liberalism. What party they belonged to isn't relevant, since their conservatism is the only thing that didn't change. Did you actually think that the Democrats were all conservatives?? Well, they were in the South. They changed party's. That's all. They didn't change their sickness. He isn't? Seems that we had an e******n about 8 months ago, and if I recall...he won. Again. Not just once, but twice. He lives in the White House, he gives addresses to Congress, he flies on Air Force ONE. He signs laws...whenever Congress actually gets around to passing them. Hmmmm...sounds like he's the President.
