H**e to disappoint you, but I neither run nor take cover when confronting an imbecile. Those who cannot see t***h when it stares them in the face are worse than morons.

What brought out Americans was not any "black president", but was his rape of the US Constitution. We've had Presidents tinker with it, but he is the first in my 75 years who proudly flouts his unconstitutional appointments, policies, and edicts. He is a d********g excuse for a human.

Actually, your terminology of "a black president" is inaccurate. He is biracial. I wonder, if his Caucasian mother were still alive, how you and others would attempt to utilize the race card?

Riiiight . What tripe . He has done no more or less than any other President , and you know it , but he's black and that's what's eating a hole in your gut . You're pretty dumb for someone who's been around for 75 years . But then again bigotry does require a low mentality .

I enjoy talking to anyone who has at least 2 brain cells to rub together - YOU don't qualify. Adios. You should go to school if you can get admitted to 3rd or 4th grade.

Riiight . Playing the race card has become a popular cliché and faux defense used by those who are indeed r****t and attempt to defend their bigotry by using that expression . All one need do is to scroll these threads to prove my point . Go try your wordplay with someone else AuntiE .

This is really pretty ridiculous. The persecution complex of today's "Christians" is overwhelming. In order to persecute you, people would have to take you seriously. They don't. Just keep your religion out of government like all the others do, and everything will be fine.

Actually, you aren't doing a very good job of hiding your own d********g prejudice. Your constitutional rights were violated a long time ago, and it somehow was overlooked. Your 4th, 6th, and 8th Amendment rights were trashed under Dubya and you never batted an eye. The Patriot Act is not something new. Habeas Corpus was dismissed under Bush. You seem to have forgotten that. The only time that can be done according to the constitution is when the nation is invaded or i**********n. It was only done once under Lincoln during the Civil War. Until Bush. Bet ya didn't even notice that one did you? Where was your outrage then?

"On Oct. 17, 2006, President Bush signed a law suspending the right of habeas corpus to persons "determined by the United States" to be an "enemy combatant" in the Global War on Terror. President Bush's action drew severe criticism, mainly for the law's failure to specifically designate who in the United States will determine who is and who is not an "enemy combatant."

"To President Bush's support for the law -- the Military Commissions Act of 2006 -- and its suspension of writs of habeas corpus, Jonathan Turley, professor of constitutional law at George Washington University stated, "What, really, a time of shame this is for the American system. What the Congress did and what the president signed today essentially revokes over 200 years of American principles and values."

What??? No problem with that?? My...the hypocrisy runs deep.

Actually, it is not "word play". He is not black. Do you need a genetics course? He would be considered "black" if both of his parents had been black; however, such is not the case.

In fact, the "race card" is more used by progressives against those who suggest any possible issue, no matter how minor, against the current president. One has to wonder what your assailment against me would be when I tell you George Bush did not particularly enjoy my approval?

Are you able to understand you might possibly be a posterior opening to the alimentary canal?

"What brought out Americans was not any "black president", but was his rape of the US Constitution."

Nonsense. Conservatism is a reaction to a challenge to the status quo. Obama represents that in black and white terms that even you can understand. The reactions of the right wing are completely t***sparent.

Most of you love to quote the constitution and I'm sure that you're all ardent supporters of a strict interpretation of it. Scalia is your guy right? If that's the case, then you must endorse W***e S*******y. It's as American as the Constitution.

W***e S*******y and r****m is foundational to America. It’s codified in our constitution.
Article I Sec. 2.(basing a state’s representation in the House on its Free population and 3/5 of all other persons)

Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several states which may be included within this union, according to their respective numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole number of free persons, including those bound to service for a term of years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.

Article I Sec. 9. (Barring congress from abolishing the s***e trade before 1808)

The migration or importation of such persons as any of the states now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each person.

Article IV Sec. 2. (providing for the return of runaway s***es)

A person charged in any state with treason, felony, or other crime, who shall flee from justice, and be found in another state, shall on demand of the executive authority of the state from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the state having jurisdiction of the crime.

No person held to service or labor in one state, under the laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in consequence of any law or regulation therein, be discharged from such service or labor, but shall be delivered up on claim of the party to whom such service or labor may be due.

By design, the United States was created as a White, male dominated society. If you support the original reading of it, then you support the r****m that it's built on. Or...do you think that there's something that might be in error in our constitution?

Of course you do. That's a common reaction from a r****t. Blame the target of your r****m as being the "real" r****t.
