And, of course, you used a predominantly left leaning source to critique Levine. That's OK, yet, there is a generous reality in true & sincere partisanship; it's real and it's absolutely necessary. Partisanship helps to separate objective T***h from subjective speculation even for the casual attentative observer.
My traditional yardstick says "that which is right will always be right no matter who says it is wrong and that which is wrong will always be wrong no matter who says it is right." The Left's tendency is to be more subjective and therefore, ascribes to the philosophy contained in their Manual of Arms called "50 Shades of Gray" which comport to their own attraction to moral relativism thereby making moral compromises almost negligible & virtually unnecessary.
For the most part, to me personally, the political differences pale in comparison to the Spiritual War being waged which I understand to be our greatest peril. A stated goal of Marxism is to destroy traditional Christian/ Godly morality and it's designed to attack and destroy a nation's foundation. L*****t clamber over their favorite mantra, "Separation of Church & State" yet historically we always enjoyed a workable balance between Church & State until the Left began forcing their consciously immoral agenda into politics. Remember Dostoevsky comment, "If there is no God, everything is permitted"& John Adam's admonition that our Constitution only works for a moral and religious people? These comments are glaring condemnations of America today. We are a nation in desperate peril and decline attributable solely to the efforts and tremendous success of the Democrat Marxist Left.

Wikipedia referenced four sources(NYT, CNN, NPR, & Politico) all describing Levine as “Right Wing”. I expect that right leaning sources and even you would say Levine is “right wing”. So your point on source is mute.
Regarding religion in USA I agree it’s on the decline. I found a NYT’s article that supports religion in USA is clearly on the decline. All my children and eligible grandkids have all been confirmed in the church.
So you are right, but your rationale that it’s due to Democratic Marxist left is cause is your unsupported opinion.
Here is the excerpt from the article I found of religious participation decline.
American church bells aren’t ringing so much as they are tolling, a new survey has found.
For the first time in 80 years, Gallup has found that less than half of US adults belong to a church, synagogue or mosque.
“Americans’ membership in houses of worship continued to decline last year, dropping below 50% for the first time in Gallup’s eight-decade trend,” Gallup reported in a Monday post. “US church membership was 73% when Gallup first measured it in 1937 and remained near 70% for the next six decades, before beginning a steady decline around the turn of the 21st century.”
Membership numbers dropped to 50% by 2018, and last year slipped to 47%.
The decline in membership is due to not only a decline in religious Americans belonging to a church, but also an increase in Americans who do not follow a religion at all, according to Gallup.
Article has updates to current year and church participation is continuing to decline.
Thanks for the comments, got me thinking, looking. What source do you have that would tie this degradation in church participation to Marxist Left Democrats.
My thoughts are lack of solid family units, lack of strong parents encouraging children to attend and get confirmed and lack of overall attendance are key contributors. Not sure kids see a value in church.
Those are my thoughts.
