Apart from any positive relationship that a man has with his wife, all that he says and does only falls on deaf ears. Once that loving relationship has been established, all that he says and does from then on only helps to further develop that relationship. "Commandments" flowing from a heart of flesh are gratefully followed while "commandments" written in a heart of stone result in open r*******n.
Because a woman loves her husband, she joyfully reads all the "love notes and letters" (scripture) he sends her way. And because he loves his wife, he joyfully acts upon her every "commandment" (spend time with me and the kids, wash the dishes, do the laundry, take out the trash, etc., and etc.).
Moral: Nothing good can flow from a bad relationship.

Oliver you sure have some strange views toward religion-faith or wh**ever you want to call it----a personal relationship with Christ is necessary and inorder to get there you MUST read the Bible( to learn about your God). follow the Commandments becaus God said becaus God said you must keep His word--- your refferences to your marrage was alittle confusing (what does emptying the trash or doing dishes have to dowith your post? I have been happily married for 51yrs to a women who shares my religious values.
