And it's not that damned easy unless you buy it like criminals buy them. After all that's been happening I cannot believe how totally ignorant you all are about existing gun laws, normal background checks and the rest. You can buy a car a damn site easier. Or many other things to use for a mass murder easier then you can buy any firearm. Semi auto, lever, bolt, single shot. Run away now before that big black scary gun comes after you by itself.

The gang members in the cities are not legally buying weapons. A lot of the public is losing their guns. Carelessness or stupidity.

I know it is tough for you to swallow, but it was the gun that made it possible for our founders to establish our nation in the first place.

And in case you aren't aware, there are a lot of really bad people in this world, wicked, mean, violent people.

So, those of us aware of these threats will stay prepared to defend ourselves, thank you very much.

Let me ask, do you carry a gun everywhere you go? VA is an open carry state (with exceptions) and yet no one was able to stop this person? Ordinary citizens can't carry guns into schools. It's not beyond the real of possibilities that you could be in a school, unarmed and some crazy person force their way and commit murder? I don't think arming everyone is the answer, nor do I advocate taking guns (including SR type weapons) away from law abiding, mentally stable citizens. The answer lies in restricting access. Some people shouldn't have guns. And for the naysayers, I know, I know, you can k**l with knives, busses, cars and bows and arrows, but so far (thankfully), no ones has used these to crash into a school or grocery store. Plus, auto loaders are illegal for bows and arrows as well as high capacity quivers.

You talk in platitudes. It's common sense that mentally disturbed, crazy, depressed people shouldn't have guns. The question is, how do we determine who fits this pathology, and who decides.? I am generally always armed. I'm going to start training more. Schools need hardened, plain and simple. We do it at airports, banks and courthouses. We can do it at schools. You need to ask yourself; Why do Democrats consistently call for law abiding citizens to be punished
through gun confiscation every time there is a "mass shooting?" Why did the Democrats refuse to let any bill move forward the Republicans pushed that hardened schools? Mass shootings are horrible. However; many more die weekly in the inner city every week and Democrats answer is; to make it easier for criminals not to be locked up. Seems a bit r****t.

You've been inadequately informed about marijuana users. People who use meth get hopped up, like cocaine users, and angel dust users, even heroin users.

NOONE who uses marijuana gets hopped up. Loss of motivation is the worst side effects of pot. They are happy and playful. They play music and forget what they were talking about, mid-sentence.

I would rather have a house full with teen-agers on pot than any other vice.

Try some pot yourself. Probably do you some good.

Really? You want a room full of teen-agers on pot? Whether there is a medical purpose for pot or not, suggesting teen-agers smoke themselves silly is, well...child endangerment. When your an adult you pay your money/take your chances...before adulthood the grown-ups around you are supposed to look out for your well being, not encourage drug use for fun!

I have no real strong opinion about pot for adults one way or another. I feel, at the least, we don't need any more fat lazier people, but that's just me. I showed him what science says. Progressives don't care what science says if it doesn't fit their ideology. Funny how that works.

Criminals carry guns into schools. Wouldn't it be nice if the good guys had a gum in school when the bad guys start shooting. The best thing you could do for someone shooting up a school is put him down right there

Guns save lives!!!!!!

I don't have an answer to your questions. I agree that schools need to be hardened. As far as inner cities, rival gangs are always k*****g one another over turff. No one will ever get the guns from them. Unfortunately, innocent bystanders get caught in the cross fire. I don't have any sympathy for the gangs. Craziness, that's a good question. What do you think about the "red f**g" laws? They have those in FL don't they? Other than stolen guns cruising state lines, this seems a local problem rather than a federal one?

You hypocritical POS. Dead is dead. You dumbass r****t Democrats release k**lers back into the minority neighborhoods to k**l again. You elect trust fund brats, like Fetterman who v**ed on the parole board multiple times to let murders out when no one else on the board did. Fetterman has also proposed to empty the jails. You guys are a joke. The more criminals you release (cashless bail) the more innocent citizens need armed.

BINGO
