Listen to this a couple of times before you comment. Though it contains a lot of righteous anger, I think there is a lot of human, beautiful thought in this guy's poetry.

Wow! And the problem: auto-immune-ideology solution (AIDS)! Triggers that naturally spark defensive reaction by a certain mindset. It happens on both sides and is very sad, and growing worse.

This is a curious juxtaposition. There was a blogger on my favorite site for whom I had little respect. He did not seem honest to me, using almost anything in the news to vent his spleen against the thoughts and policies of a political group he seemed to despise. As soon as I saw his name, that he had an article, my juices were flowing: I am going to level this h**er once and for all.

As he slowly introduced his main ideas, mocking that sub-culture of American moms of uber-diet and yoga conscious and already prepping their children at two for Harvard, the fodder was stacking up. Then total disappointment: he had me rapt with what he had to say about a Christian in America. Not just rapt. I had to create a folder of his words for my own spiritual needs...and a stark and harsh reminder not to judge. Awe is the word at the end.

Then there is this truly great poet with so much to say and a talent to really say it, yet some phrases and ideas will be thoughtlessly seen as forms of pathogens in the stream of consciousness. Attack and destroy reflexive. Survival is in question. Be quick or be dead. To question such a reaction to the spread of such apparently virulent matter is logically to make the questioner stupid, insane, or an agent of the disorder. Not to quickly and fiercely confront these "invasive" seeming indignities can only mean corruption in the questioner. Unfortunate, but that is our reality today.

The poet said, "Your earthquakes are coming from your faults." Brilliant! Long ago I learned, as many have, that I am the architect of my own adversity.

The Poet said, "F**gs and people have a way of waving at people that they have forgotten." So very true. Good stuff.

Yes, I support the L**T'S right to choose their own "presute" of happiness garenteed by our constitution. This poem covers so much more than gay recognition, it emphasized the power of our attitude with words and actions. Thank you for your comment.

It sounds like you may endorse Process Theology?
