What is a moderate or centrist?
L*****ts claim to be "a little left of center" but I've yet to actually debate a centrist on this board.

First thing you might try is to drop the insulting l*****t term.
Those of us who want e******y and for the least of us (recognize that from the Christian faith?) to be cared for in Christ's example mainly call ourselves progressives these days. Some settle for that outdated liberal term.
A centrist is certainly left of what most people who in the second decade of the 21st century who call themselves conservative are, and that is radicals.
Centrists are gutless wonders, IMHO. They take no stand against hatred, bigotry, or work to eradicate poverty in any meaningful way.
Hope this helps. j

What is 'insulting' about being called a l*****t? After all, if one promotes ideas that are commonly 'left of center' then one is a 'l*****t.

You are a radical l*****t.

Only to the radical right. From that perspective, everyone is a radical l*****t. It's one of the reasons you don't recognize moderates or centrists.

Thanks for verifying that your question is exactly as suspected.

And the same applies to the l*****t as well - correct?

Sure. The radical left sees the center as rightist.

So what do you believe is a 'centrist' issue that both groups dislike?
