People have to learn to adjust to the world and the people, and to do that quickly enough, they typically have to make some superficial judgements (such as by stereotyping), at least occasionally. Whether a person is r****t or not, the person very likely has _some_ kind of bias which, if it were examined closely, would turn out to be an unfair or wrong bias.

I consider myself a little bit r****t, a little bit (or maybe more) sexist, and a little bit of lots of things like that. I try to become a little bit better person, less r****t, less sexist, and less wrongly biased generally.
The dangerous or detrimental people are the ones who don't recognize their own fallibility and don't happen to be right about every significant thing.
