IMHO: I'll try to keep this politically correct for the overly sensitive opp censors. The anti-USA terrorists had, and still have, a vendetta against President Trump and wanted him impeached even before he was sworn in. They had no other reason than they didn't like him. They didn't like him because he was, still is, and always will be, an "outsider" and not a member of their corrupt Establishment underworld, the Deep State, who they can force to do their dastardly deeds against the USA. President Trump has done more FOR the USA in 3.5 years than the Deep State operatives have done FOR the USA for the last half century!

Those who h**ed, and still h**e, the USA, and wanted, and still want, to destroy the USA are the ones who should have been, and still should be, impeached, recalled, or v**ed out. Those who want the USA to succeed and prosper should not be, and should not have ever been, impeached; President Trump was only guilty of helping the USA in its time of need, and was found innocent of any and all impeachment charges, therefore he wasn't impeached even though the anti-Trump h**ers of the USA would like the world to believe he was. Well, in the eyes and minds of people who have a brain, he wasn't. The House of Representatives, is the most corrupt it has ever been, and it is getting worse. We taxpayers have been paying these anti-USA congresspeople an outrageous salary, and many very lucrative benefits, to stifle the USA with their obstructionism and inaction concerning the running of this Republic. We should insist that they pay back their entire unearned income. Impeachment was a demented socialist idea of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, and other misfits they managed to recruit in congress, the DOJ, the FBI, and other once revered departments of law enforcement.

The neodemocrats/Progressives are a mob of radical C*******t Marxists who are trying to rewrite history and ruin the USA, the very Constitutional Republic that has given them everything they have and a great life, and they should all be recalled, but for some reason good people that usually possess some common sense seem to have fallen prey to the left's poison coolade and for some reason are afraid to do anything for fear of their so-called "non-violent" terrorism and their radical left-wing courts where "one is guilty until proven innocent unless one is "connected." Of course, if you are a liberal activist you get a get-out-of-jail-free card. Their "Planet of the Apes" "legal system" makes Al Capone's gangsters, the Mafioso groups, MK-13, the KKK, the Black Lies Mutter mess, and George Soros' Mercenary political gangs, ALL look like Saints that have been blessed by the Pope. The Pope appears to be blessed by George Soros, and run-of-the-mill Catholics, Jews, and Christians should be able to see right through this crap storm, but they just turn away, which is eventually going to cost them dearly. These people are adults according to the calendar, but they act like a group of young boys sitting around a backyard campfire playing with themselves trying to see who has the biggest organ; I'm not sure how to describe their women, but I'm sure you can figure it out. They will get what they deserve.

Their E******n Year Crisis (never waste a good crisis!) using CV-19 worked very well and provides quite a terrorizing distraction; I'll be glad when the e******n is over because the terrorists will no longer need the v***s to scare and control the sheeple and maybe we can get back to living normally. The morbidity is high but the mortality is statistically insignificant; somewhat like the common cold or the regular flu. Then Bill Gates and Anthony F***i can get on with their pipe-dreams of Agenda 21 and 30 goals to depopulate the world with their "directed" v*****es, and their G5 internet connectivity using under skin implants to ultimately control everyone on the planet; make way for the Borg. Hades, just follow the money!

If we lose this e******n to the liberals, there will likely be no need for e******ns in the future since the democrat mob will have enough loyal i***ts to stuff any b****t box put forward. They will have the unbeatable majority they've been working for, and a world full of s***es to support their Elites.

All of us who love the USA, warts and all, and want it to continue to be "the bright star on a hill" rather than a backyard outhouse, had better get off our lazy posteriors and V**E in November. Here's to the USA and President Trump - - to me there is no other reasonable choice!

That is not only a HUGE lie, it is well known that Obama wanted to have better relations when he was caught on camera talking to President Dmitry Medvedev saying that he’ll have more flexibility after the e******n.

As he was leaning toward Medvedev in Seoul in 2012, Obama was overheard asking for time - particularly with missile defense until he is in a better position politically to resolve such issues. “This is my last e******n … After my e******n I have more flexibility,” Obama said, expressing confidence that he would win a second term.

“I understand your message about space,” replied Medvedev. “I will t***smit this information to Vladimir,” he said. Medvedev handed over the presidency to Putin in May of 2012. He was Putin’s protégé and long considered number two in Moscow’s power structure.

President Trump has been tougher on Russia in 18 months than Obama was in eight years:

Even though the left-wing media will never give him credit, President Trump has been far tougher on Russia than Obama was. In April, 2018, the Trump administration imposed new sanctions on Russia - including [b]strict sanctions]/b] on seven of Russia’s richest individuals and 17 top government officials for their interference in our e******ns. The sanctions directly penalized President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle by prohibiting them from traveling to the United States ever again. He did this by opening a bank account in the West, preventing them from doing business with the West and prohibiting anyone else to do business on their behalf.

The sanctions were among the toughest sanctions ever placed on individuals in a foreign country, with the exception of perhaps Iran and North Korea. Yet like many of Trump’s successes, it received minimal mainstream media coverage.

During his first month in office in January 2017, President Trump upheld strict sanctions to punish Russia for its unlawful 2014 annexation of Crimea. With those sanctions, the Trump administration punished more than three dozen individuals and organizations that were behind the invasion of Ukraine.

Even Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin had a hand in the actions, stating that there would be no easing of the sanctions until Russia meets its obligations under the 2015 Minsk agreement - the ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

In August 2017, Trump signed a bill slapping even more sanctions on Russia - this time specifically aimed at the country’s energy and defense industries. Congress made the legislation Trump-proof, meaning that no executive order could ever undo such sanctions; yet Trump signed it anyway.

In fact it was Trump - not Obama - who ordered the closure of Russian diplomatic properties in San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and New York City that appeared to be a threat to American security. It was also President Trump who shuttered the Russian consulate in Seattle.

To be sure, Obama kicked 35 Russian diplomats out of the country after suspected e******n meddling by Russia, but only after T***p w*n the 2016 e******n. It is questionable whether he would have done so had Hillary Clinton succeeded in being the victor.

Furthermore, it was President Trump who led the world in expelling Russian diplomats after the Russian government was suspected of carrying out a nerve agent attack in the United Kingdom against one of their former spies. President Trump moved swiftly to expel 60 Russian diplomats from U.S. soil, and other countries followed suit by expelling dozens as well.

In addition to these stringent sanctions, President Trump has also called out Russia publicly during a landmark speech in 2017 in Poland. Trump lambasted Russia for using oil to hold NATO’s Eastern European countries hostage. He underscored the dangers of those countries’ dependence on Russian oil deliveries to keep their people warm during the winter, leading to their inability to criticize Russia the rest of the year.

The Trump administration even offered to help identify alternative energy sources for the region. Trump’s remarks on European soil was the energy industry equivalent of Reagan’s “tear down that wall” speech.

************

Compare all of the above actions to Obama’s milquetoast policy on Russia and outright appeasement on issues such as the “red line” that Russia blew right past in Syria. Obama’s lackluster track record with Russia is in stark contrast to the Trump administration that had, in its first 18 months, surpassed what Obama did over a total of eight years.

Now, talk around that for a while..

You can not have it both way..

History says they were both impeached.. Clinton because he got a blow job and lied about it..

Trump's impeachment came after a formal House inquiry alleged that he had solicited foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. p**********l e******n to help his re-e******n bid, and then obstructed the inquiry itself by telling his administration officials to ignore subpoenas for documents and testimony.
You goofy people who say trump was not impeached..... (show quote)

Just a bit of clarification, it was not Clinton lying about receiving oral sex from an intern in the Oval Office. Clinton had been convicted in a court of law for perjury and lost his law license as a result. Perjury is a misdemeanor and is an impeachable offence. They should have just censured him and been done with it.
Trump has not been convicted of any crime. Abuse of power is a nebulous charge and can include anything from a dispute over a political issue to gross misconduct, which makes it exceedingly difficult to prove. Obstruction of Congress can be easier to prove, but Congress must strictly follow procedure. Congress needs to subpoena witnesses and/or documents and have the President refuse to honor the subpoenas, either outright or through the use of executive privilege. Once the President refuses the subpoenas, Congress must turn to the court to, which will determine if executive privilege applies or the subpoenas are enforceable. If the court finds the subpoenas are enforceable and the President fails to comply, he can be found in contempt of Congress and of obstruction of Congress. If Congress doesn't follow the procedure, the subpoenas are invalid (and in the case of Trump, Congress withdrew the subpoenas), therefore there was no contempt of Congress nor obstruction of Congress.

Since the Senate refused to do the House's work for them, there were no more witnesses for the Grand Jury (the Senate) to call and there was nothing more for the Grand Jury to do so they v**ed on a verdict. It's too bad that you don't like it that the Senate has a Republican majority. But it is what it is. Everyone knew WAY ahead of time...not just weeks....that the whole impeachment was a big joke and wouldn't pass the Senate. It was just another political ploy by the Dems to sway the 2020 e******n. It backfired, as have all their other efforts to try to make the outcome of the e******ns in November to their liking, and not the American v**ers.

They're still trying to sway the outcome of the e******n....and they will keep on trying until November 3. It's obvious what they're trying to do. They don't give a rip what American v**ers want.

The charges brought by Congress to the Senate were not impeachable crimes. They were:
1. Abuse of power.
2. Obstruction of justice.

Impeachable crimes are the following:
Section 4 of Article Two of the United States Constitution: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors

In addition, the democrats in congress did not allow the Republicans to participate during the proceedings. Pelosi, Adam Schitt, Nadler and whoever in the democrat Congress, locked the basement room of Congress that the republicans were not able to enter and participate. Again that is a violation and unconstitutional.

The impeachment charges did not qualify for impeachable crimes. There was none to impeach. The impeachment was null and void. The Articles of Impeachment brought to the Senate did not qualify for impeachment. The Senate does not need to investigate. All that's needed to be done was to nullify the Articles of Impeachment and return to Pelosi. That will end the problem. However, the Senate reviewed them anyways.

Conclusion: The president was not impeached due to the reasons cited above. The crimes presented were null and void.
