The difference between intelligence and wisdom:

Intelligence leads to arguments.
Wisdom leads to settlement.

Intelligence is the power of will.
Wisdom is power over will.

Intelligence is heat, it burns.
Wisdom is warmth, it comforts.

Intelligence is the pursuit of knowledge, it tires the seeker.
Wisdom is the pursuit of t***h, it inspires the seeker.

Intelligence is holding on.
Wisdom is letting go.

Intelligence leads you.
Wisdom guides you.

An intelligent man thinks he knows everything.
A wise man knows that there is still something to learn.

An intelligent man always tries to
prove his point.
A wise man knows there is no point.

Intelligence gives you specific utility.
Wisdom inspires flexible versatility.

Intelligence seeks to define things as black and white.
Wisdom acknowledges there are gray areas.

Most Important:

Intelligence seeks knowledge!
Wisdom seeks t***h!

Not true from what I’ve read, seen, on the news, and from their own videos. A****A and B*M were there in force. Come on. You know this. The far or alt right i***ts are very small in population. You really think all those black people running out of the stores with stolen goods are with the alt right. Use some of that vaunted I. Q..Read B*M founders and what they say they are for.

I think you should explore what really happened at the protests a bit more. Was A****a there? I have found no data that proves they had much of anything to do with it. I am not an A****a supporter at all, but people need to understand the t***h. Most of the B*M led protests were not l**ting and r**ts. Their organizers understood they needed to keep things calm and protest non-violently or they would be directly hurting their efforts for change.

Unfortunately what the data has been showing is that much of the violence and l**ting and r**ting may have been provoked more by the far right groups like Boogaloo than by B*M or A****a. In my mind the far right white nationalists are the groups we should be more worried about than B*M and A****a.

Well Flodo;

You are a big time ignoramous is what you are. Not a Trump fan, don't listen to him talk, well maybe if you did listen to him talk you might be able to carry on a conversation about how much he does or does not lie. Since you don't listen to him and you have your head in the sand, its no wonder you have not been able to recognize what a lying piece of sh$t he is. If you don't even know what lies he has told, how can you have any idea if his lies have hurt you or not. That's just plain dumba$$ logic. Here is a clue for you: any time Trumps says "someone said" or "I heard", you can be pretty sure that wh**ever follows is a bald faced made up lie.

But don't fret, there are plenty of sources that have been tracking and t***hing his narrative and there is plenty of opportunity for you to get caught up on reality if you have the courage. The proof is everywhere of his rampant lying.

And mental acuity! Give me a break. Trump can't even read and understand his own intel briefings, or at least so he says. He claims to have not been informed of the Russian payments for ISIS k*****gs of US service members. He thinks drinking bleach or lysol will k**l the v***s and should be looked into, the v***s will just go away all on its own, we need to slow down testing, I could go on and on forever. He is a raging i***t and you prove every day on here that you are the same.

So: Show me the proof that Obama "lied all the time".

We did not get into any wars under Obama, and when Biden was VP we had good relationships throughout the world. Trump and his foreign policy has destroyed those relationships. Instead of fostering relationships with friends, he tried to create new friends in North Korea, China and Russia. Yeah that's some great foreign policy we have seen from the past 3+ years. So how about you list all the great foreign policy achievements that Trump is responsible for, and don't forget to give specific proof on just how each of those foreign policies he has instituted have benefited you personally and the country as a whole.

By the way, when you are doing your research, please understand up front that tariffs charged for goods coming into the country are paid by the entity importing the goods into the US, not the entity exporting them from China. Although we have heard the lie over and over again coming out of Trumps mouth, China does not pay any of those tariffs. But every consumer does. So unless you have been buying 100% American and not purchasing any goods manufactured in China, that one lie alone has been hurting you.

If you can do that then I might believe your IQ is over 100. Right now I am guessing you are more in the range of 60.
Well Flodo; br br You are a big time ignoramous i... (show quote)

That is a very tall order for mr "frodo" lol

Oh yes, it is blame the messenger time. No surprise.

There are numerous stories lately of Rs tampering with the v**e and some trying to v**e twice.

Head in the sand is perfect. I call the republican party the ostrich party. Unwilling to observe the national trends and 'get with the times.' In other words, you're old, white, and (hopefully formerly) priviledged.

And your prez is going down in flames.

You are using generalizations dummy. Gee, I misspoke. Of course I've heard Trump speak. I just don't make it a habit to listen to his speech's or pressers. In my life actions speak louder than words. Your leftwing sources, I've read plenty, that call a statement a lie are very misleading. If Trump says it's 85 degrees outside and it's 84 that is considered a lie. You might want to look up the definition of a lie. In layman's term a lie is an intentional unt***h. Trump is a braggart, a bloviator, an exaggerator, an ass, and I imagine on occasion he lies. All politicians do. Pretty much why I don't like any of them. Obama's lies such as your health insurance will go down in price $2500 a family is a huge lie that affected most working people. (Here's a few for you) https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/365393-how-quickly-ny-times-forgets-obamas-lies-and-frauds

I know more about tariffs and the economy than you ever will. It's my business. When tariffs are passed on they cause said product to become too expensive and consumers go somewhere else. Thus tariffs do injure the other country., I make it a point to not buy goods made in China. I've believed China our number one enemy way before Trump came along. I guess you like the Biden/Obama way. Just let China walk all over your country because one, Obama really doesn't like America and two Biden"s family got rich off of China. You should not talk about I.Q.'s. You come across as another dumb little lemming. You parrot left wing talking points but don't know what you're reallyntalking about. You are quickly becoming just another useless tool on OPP of the left.

This is the sad-but-true reality that the rwnjs have exited reality and are desperate.

So they have "their sources" and the rest of the world has facts... here we go... hang on, buckle in..

We're in for a wild ride.

I know this is a waste of time and Frodo ‘s OK with me but I actually liked Sam better. There have been a number of Republican Bills introduced in the House in healthcare. Pelosi has k**led them all. Trump finally did something I’ve been saying needs done for years. T***sparency in the healthcare/health insurance industry. Great step but the Republicans have dropped the ball on healthcare. I’m one of the few on here that has given their own personnel plan for healthcare. It was comprehensive and

What I see from Democrats is defund or dismantle the police. Destroy public property. Cave to the most radical among us and basically pronounce America a bad, r****t country. We are trillions in debt. Thank you Bush, Obama, Trump and above all Congress. Democrats answer: Spend even more than the Republicans. Insane.

That is a really good question and I believe that people who really know me would absolutely say yes. When I retired I ran a wildland fire program for the Federal Government in DOI with a $110 million annual budget and 3,500 employees dealing with work that k**ls people who are unwise. Never lost a man or woman on my watch, and I conducted over 350 planned prescribed burns in my career as the "Burn Boss". Never had a single one of those 350 burns get away, so that might tell you something.

That is something. Thank your for your service. You probably, though it is hard to prove, saved many homes from being incinerated via the urban/wildland interface.

Yep a lot of t***h there, the main reason is I have just utterly hit my limit with the idiocy I see on this forum and with the far right in this country and what that is doing to the country I spent most of my life protecting. I'm getting old and I'm personally really pissed off that my country has gotten to this point. When Trump was elected I thought, OK he will have a good foundation around him to support him and he will learn in the job so it won't be too bad. Well I was not smart enough nor did I have sufficient wisdom at that time to understand the stupidity of that thinking. And I was never a Hillary supporter either. It just k**ls me that neither party can come up with a decent candidate these days. So I am letting it be known to all who care right here and now: I am not v****g for Biden, I am v****g against Trump and for the future of our nation.

Nice platitudes. The word you need to concentrate on is HOW. Tim Scott a Republican black Senator introduced a bill on police reform. Now you might be against it. You might think it doesn’t go far enough but the Democrats, as in Chucky Schumer wouldn’t even debate the Bill. Scott asked them for amendments. That’s how things used to get done. So you need to open your mind, not just believe Politicians because they say Something you want to hear.

I just wonder what the R healthcare plan/replacement of ACA is. We do need a plan.
