Can anyone here on OPP actually give me and well, the rest of us the reason why certain politicians are not allowing the use of this drug mixture? PLEASE?????
All I can say is that if in fact the entire reason is one of a political nature then they need to be immediately remove3d indicted for endangering their citizens and then found guilty of s******n, subversion and treason against The United Stated of America. Tell me where I'm wrong on this view.

If you are by chance referring to Michigan and Nevada, both of whom denied it for their citizens, the Mich. governor is now begging the Federal government for a supply of the drug. I haven't heard anything about Nev. at this point.

JW, its not only those two but also Gov Cuomo who has so far restricted the use of this medicine for New York. It just blows my mind about this BS!!!!!! I suppose either they are completely ignorant and or stupid but they have forgotten the "Right To Try" that President Trump had signed awhile back. I not sorry to say that it may just be necessary for the good of our country to remove those individuals from any type of responsibility never being able to hold a position of authority once they are removed. I do realize that doing so would be a very serious happening! However when we are talking about the very WELL BEING of our citizenry those people have given themselves a false sense of power which they really don't have.

Nevada probably sends all their cases to CA, much like they did years ago with their mentally ill. Just load them up on the bus and send them to San Fiasco where Pelosi and her nephew, Gov. Newsom, will care for them. Why Not? They have enough money to help i*****l a***ns who have businesses that are suffering from the state-mandated shut-downs. What difference does a few more Nevadans make? Of course, You would probably have to d**g most Nevadans, kicking and screaming all the way, to get them to go into the Socialist State of CA. I can't blame them. They aren't mentally ill, so it's a lot tougher to get them on a one-way bus.

I had not heard that about Cuomo but I agree with you. They need to be removed from any position of decision making for the public.

Doctors all over the world are prescribing it with positive results. Why are politicians interfering? BTW - it is an FDA approved drug. It just hasn't been tested for effectiveness against this v***s. It appears to work so it is being used.

this drug has been in use for years from what my son read if your talking about the malaria drug they also use it on people with aid

Here are a few big reasons, there is no clinical evidence it works, only antidotal evidence that is shakey at best, the drug has some severe side effects and it is in short supply and needed by the lupus patients it is intended for.

You'd take it if you had the v***s and there was nothing else. Don't be a fool.

Are we to then shut down all uses of this drug and save it only for lupus patients? That's ridiculous.

So instead of possibly helping people you want to wait - who cares how many more die - until a lengthy study is done. If people want to volunteer for a study, let them.

And the side effects are not as severe as dying nor as severe as you are implying.

Because unscrupulous pharmacies and Physicians are hoarding it for themselves in many parts of the nation Lupus patients can not get it. If the needs of the people it is known to help are met first, only then does it make any sense to use this off label until reliable studies on its efficacy are done.

That's not a valid reason to shut down all uses of the drug except to lupus patients. Instead of addressing the problem you want to put a defective band aid on it.
