Mr. Rogers ...

Please do quote the Bible version, book of the Bible, chapter and verse where you found your quote to me, - obviously intended as an insult: "You reason like a Democrat."

This section is set aside for Faith, Religion and Spirituality, and NOT for political speech.

Mr. Rogers wrote:
My quotes are from the bible. Your argument is not with me. It is with the word of God and the God who proclaimed it.

You have just willfully lied, for as I said before, my objection is to your inappropriate accusation against me when you said: "You think like a Democrat."

That was the only thing you could think off to answer my objection to your interpretation of the meaning of Scripture?

Lies and liars must be refuted whenever and wherever, as is your lying assertion that I have any quarrel whatsoever with the Word of God.

If my repeatedly correcting your spiritualizing away the clear meaning of Scripture's literal historical meaning makes me, in your mind, "sound like a Democrat," deal with it.

Don't lie about me by accusing me of quarreling either with God or with His Holy Word because it is not true.

You consistently quote the Bible, then in your own words draw your own conclusion to what you have just quoted, and that is your prerogative... just as it is my prerogative to disagree with your conclusion.

Believe what you will.

I do not, nor have I ever had any objection to God's Word.

My revulsion is with your resorting to a lame 5 cents unexplained pseudo political insult toward me personally, when you cannot defeat my reasoning, and again, I quote you,

"You think like a Democrat." ...which is, within itself completely off the wall, and inappropriate in this "Faith Religion and Spirituality" Subsection of OPP.

Your words are extendable to each of the millions of Democrats in the nation, and are obviously intended as an insult, and again, I quote you:

Quote from Mr. Rogers: You reason like a Democrat.

What has that to do with Holy Scripture?

Again, please do quote the Bible version, book of the Bible, chapter and verse where you found "You reason like a Democrat."

The millennium reign comes after the bowls of wrath are poured out upon the earth and Satan is bound for 1,000 years.

Thus; in the order of sequence,

The 144,000 are sealed in their foreheads
The trumpets sound
The 1st resurrection along with the rapture occurs at the time of the last (or 7th) trumpet
The bowls of wrath are poured out upon the earth
Satan is bound
King Jesus (the true Christ) reigns for 1,000 years

I will send another reply after I discover where the two beasts fit into this sequence of events. If anybody have any thoughts on this sequence of events, please reply. I am not God. I have not seen a vision. This paradigm is not meant to be taken as fact. I am only trying to uncover the true sequence of end time events.

Thank you, Rose,

Because understanding of the end time scenarios so differ between denominations, based on their methods of interpreting prophecy, this is a doctrinal field and debate subject I had long recognized as an exercise of futility - where angels fear to tread - before I typed the first word.

Apparently, there is something so profoundly soul stirring about having one's views of eschatology (study of the end times) challenged, that it inevitably dissolves all possibilities of ending such discussions with a "Kumbayah" moment, or even a "Whatever, Bro"!

What I am sure of is that God will do what He wills to do, in His own timing, to fulfill His prophecies, as He understands them, and it will be perfect.

I would deeply appreciate it , Canuckus,

if you would briefly expound on the three eschatological end time scenarios: pre-Tribulation, mid-Tribulation and post-Tribulation,

placing your own auspicious ending as the capstone to this less than illustrious discussion.

Chuckle... Wouldn't dream of it...

I've learned a lot from this thread...

And am enjoying reviewing and crosschecking the arguments...

It's not an aspect of our faith that I have payed much attention to... But fascinating...

I post was in hope of inciting further dialogue... A nudge if you will... From purely selfish motivations...
