https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/faithless-e*****r-a-court-ruling-just-changed-how-we-pick-our-president/ar-AAG8tdZ?ocid=spartandhpA federal appeals court ruled late Tuesday that p**********l e*****rs who cast the actual b****ts for president and vice president are free to v**e as they wish and cannot be required to follow the results of the popular v**e in their states.
The decision could give a single e*****r the power to decide the outcome of a p**********l e******n — if the popular v**e results in an apparent E*******l College tie.
"This issue could be a ticking time bomb in our divided politics. It's not hard to imagine how a single faithless e*****r, v****g differently than his or her state did, could swing a close p**********l e******n," said Mark Murray, NBC News senior political editor.

It will get struck down. Witness the wearing off of liberal political Viagra...the Court will begin ruling against their ridiculous demands.

That was the purpose of the e*******l college, to act as a foil to bad choices. But you apparently believe that a state's e*******l should all go to the popular v**e and disregard the population that didn't v**e for them? Let the e*******l be split according to popular v**e, the GOP is dead because they are controlling states with minority GOP v**ers. Democracy is about majority rule, not minority.

And you think it is a biased court so it will fail?

Dems are about Majority Cruel and it's a good thing your i***t party is dying the death of ten thousand self inflicted cuts because the alternative would be worse! It's a gory pleasure to watch.
When Democrats are free of the Klinton Kurse they may eventually recover.
That judge should hang for Treason!!!

They changed nothing!!!!!!!!, have you read the Constitution (Amendment 12)? In history, "faithless e*****rs" have v**ed 152 times against the popular state v**e choice. Yes, it has changed the outcome of e******ns; in 1872, 63 Democratic Party e*****rs decided they could not v**e for Horace Greeley, who had died shortly after the e******n but before the E*******l College count. The second-highest number of faithless e*****rs in one e******n happened in 1832, and it was against a vice-p**********l candidate, Martin Van Buren. In 2016, there were a number of faithless e*****rs; David Bright (ME - Bernie Sanders), Muhammad Abdurrahman (MN - Bernie Sanders), Michael Baca (CO - John Kasich), Esther John (WA - Colin Powell), Levi Guerra (WA - Colin Powell), Bret Chiafalo (WA - Colin Powell), Robert Satiacum (WA - Faith Spotted Eagle), and David Mulinix (HI - Bernie Sanders), v**ed for Trump. The two Republican e*****rs were Chris Suprun (TX - John Kasich) and Bill Greene (TX - Ron Paul) v**ed for k**lary.

SCOTUS will put this to bed. But it is amazing that this kind of drivel actually reaches the SCOTUS today...

We are a Republic, Pete. Always have been...always will be.
Republic: A state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch.

No state is required to v**e in any matter whatsoever. I read that piece. It's ridiculous. No state is even required to have an e******n.
