I had no idea there is someone in The Bible named Beto!

Please do not hijack this thread with political commentary. I am genuinely interested in learning how The Bible informs people's stance on a******n.

It would help me if everyone sticks to the topic.

Thanks!

Political commentary dictates, or rather, demonstrates that people don't care what the Bible says about a******n. My point about Beto is that the question about a******n is now exceeding birth such that a living baby can, in the eyes of many, be put to death even though it now represents no danger to the mother, which is clearly murder. Today's women want control of life, not just their bodies, and clearly are ready to defy Gawds command not to murder.

I appreciate your comments, and understand how you and many others see this issue.

But I would appreciate it if everyone stays focused on my question (and that of the article) regarding what The Bible says about a******n. Some have already done so, for which I thank you. I haven't had a moment to respond to those specifically, but I hope to be able to soon.

This goes back to the worship of Molech (if you have the time to look it up) Molech was a statue with a hole in the belly where there was sa fire. The parents "passed their children through the fire" to ensure prosperity in their future. What difference is there between this and an abotion "for women who cannot afford financially" and are unprepared for a birth and support of a child. the Bible affirms LIFE in all its aspects. If women were as prepared to practice "safe sex" as they are to demand their "rights" neglecting the process of life, then they must be prepared to have a child - regardless.
Anyone (even a fool) cannot deny this logic and it should bot have to be a subject of debate or discussion.
I have dealt with e=women who have had a******ns (sometimes years after the event) and the psychological bonding that odors with a womb growing child often causers immense psychological damage in the future.
It is no wonder that the valley where Molech worship was performed was also called TOPHET (valley of the drums) for they had to beat drums very loudly to drown out the cries of the women (parents0 who realized what they were actually doing as the child was k**led.
A******n br br This goes back to the worship of M... (show quote)

It takes two to create a baby why is the responsibility only the women? Both sexes have to be responsible when a new life is brought into the world.

That was so well said. We need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit and that the Holy Spirit breath the love of God into each and every one of us. Now more than ever, we need to fight against evil and do the will of the Lord.
